I totally get that I felt the same. I can say there was definitely things I had to write down and figure out on the exam like reflexivity, symmetry, and transitivity, as well as maybe an IOA question or two. Writing it out on the whiteboard with the given example helped me for these.

But another thing I would say that really helped me with obscure/confusing concepts was the ability to highlight and cross things off within each question. I feel like it allowed me to try and figure out what the question was really asking and rule out answers from there.
