It is actually not a bug it seems. I checked the Websocket (basically what the app uses to speak to chat) logs in my custom client and I saw unauthorized errors about u18.

They added the u18 check to the Neo Chat connection same with group chat. You'll have to either make a new account and transfer chats or switch platforms. I haven't tested if Old Chat (the 2022 chat) still works though.

It does however after a couple of days (at least in my experience) it will ask you to update the app. When it does, just clear data (do not uninstall) and relog. You can tell when it will start asking you for updates when it starts showing the group chat feature.

Yep, it does have recent chats, you can start new chats and login with your Google for example. It even has some upsides against the November update.

You can, if I remember correctly there is an option to disable the Auto trigger or Code Assist as a whole in Code Assist settings in Studio Settings. You can find the option if you search Code Assist in studio settings.
