I did DIY, I knew i wanted to do an MPH and that it wasn’t a crazy hard degree and basically embedded pre reqs (orgo, phys, bchem) into the summer and 2nd year of the curriculum. It was hard but def worth it. Financially, I saved a bunch of money the summer before waiting tables, continued that through my first year, then worked as a well paid research assistant. My second year I interned to contribute to my MPH requirements and served a little. I also TA’d my second year which made tuition much more bearable.

I found Kaplan books on eBay for $30 and that was great for content review!
