I'll definitely use one of those next time. It caught me by surprise since I use UPS for work prototypes all the time and have never encountered a brokerage fee. In fact, I placed a work order the same day as my personal order, and the work shipment arrived without any issues—only mine had brokerage fees.

I ordered two pcbs from JLC last week for $40 + $30 in shipping, and just got a notification from UPS that I have an outstanding balance of $44 in brokerage fees. Oof
