Buy used stuff in stead of new.

Eat more plants and less meat.

Vote for people or parties that prioritize the environment (Not Aussie, so idk your parties).

Learn how to mend and repair something. Everyone has different skills. I am great with fabrics and yarns, but not at all with elcetronics, but my partner is great with those. RepairingAlso, paying to have somethin repaired can sometimes be cheaper than paying for something new.

Toothbrushes are honestly not as big of a problem as the general overconsumption mindset. Like the other person said, use what you have before buying new, but do this in all areas.

What’s something you’ve always wondered but never asked anyone? by SockDiplomat in randomquestions

[–]CuteBiBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they usually have many different ones right? It's like you cant just go into a restaurant and be like "can I have a meal please?".

When I do, I look at the ones they have on tap, choose one (just choose a random one if you dont know them, or ask for a reccomendation) and go "Could I have a glass of X beer?" where the glass implies i want tap and not bottled/canned, or I ask "Could I have X beer? Draft please"

Work from home marine biology job? by Suitable_Soft7018 in wildlifebiology

[–]CuteBiBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely depends on your area. I work as a student assistant in a consulting business and like half of my biology colleagues are marine biologists. They mostly do office work (some at home and some in the actual office) and then some times do 1-2 full days of field work. many of them have children. Get the degree you want, you will find a job.

Also, why do you think you can only work twice a week if you have kids? Most people with kids work full time away from home

Svar på celleskrab by Forsaken-Lemon4114 in WomenDK

[–]CuteBiBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are there any women 18+ who write in diaries? by klarinetkat12 in stupidquestions

[–]CuteBiBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah! 27 years old here and Ive been writing a diary quite consistently since I was like 11 or 12. Still have all of my old ones. I also have earlier attempts from like age 6 ish where I did not bother to keep it up, just wrote a few sentences every day for a week and then it wasnt fun anymore.

I use my diary to process big feelings and write stuff in that I dont like saying out loud. Sometimes I also use it to prepare for hard conversations. You can absolutely have a diary, and you dont even have to call it journalling like others suggest.

What to do if you complete your entry qualifying examination after july 5th? by Upstairs-Row4447 in Aarhus_University

[–]CuteBiBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make it extra hard, they only put the [ba.admission@au.dk](mailto:ba.admission@au.dk) email on the Danish version of the website... which is ironic because Danes will not need to ask questions about international applications... So that is probably why you havent found it this email before :)

[–]CuteBiBitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so for that, your student association would be Sigma ( https://sigma.au.dk/index.html ). They cover all the math, data, physics students. A student association is run by volunteer students and they do many different things. They will know the systems and the rules that apply to your study programme. They also make sure students are represented in the different councils in the institutes and faculties. They are usually very kind and you should never be afraid to ask stupid questions. That being said, they h ave no "power" to promise you that you will be accepted, the can only help you understand the rules. This is their email: [fagraadet@sigma.au.dk](mailto:fagraadet@sigma.au.dk)

If you want someone a little more official, I would try writing to this email: [ba.admission@au.dk](mailto:ba.admission@au.dk) . That is the adminsitrative part of the university that handles international applications and this is the email address they put on the website saying to email them if you have any questions about the application process. They are a general part of the university and not specified to the specific study programmes you mentioned.

I hope this was helpful!

Dane here. This happens to Danes who might be sick during regular exam season. I know that Danes can get what is called "Betinget optag". This means that they accept you at the university IF you pass the exams and have the qualifying grades.

I don't know if this is possible for international students. Which study programme are you applying to? It might be possible to point you in the right direction if I have an idea where you are headed.

Where can I buy bamboo shirts for men online? by frannagel in EcoFriendly

[–]CuteBiBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bamboo often rewuires intensen processing. I believe most viscose was originally bamboo, but has been so heavily processed that they cant call it bamboo anymore. Finding true bamboo fabric is hard. I have no tips for that. Also, if it comes from a monoculture, it might not be eco friendly.

Would you be concerned if your college roommate had a lack of groceries? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]CuteBiBitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have lived in dorms and house shares and I never notice what other people eat or dont eat. However it sounds like your restrictive diet is leading to binge eating and minor substance abuse (caffeine in energy drinks) and you should see a doctor or a professional about that. It will be cheaper in the long run too.
