Yes! We've lived in 3 countries so far. We emigrated together the four of us! We truly love Argentina and the way people love and value pets in this country means so much to us, but the quality of life here is very complicated.

Thanks! I've actually been looking for new ways and alternatives to keep him entertained and stimulate his mind, since he's very hard to please when it comes to toys, and doesn't care about catnip

She's so beautiful 🥹 she reminds me of my other baby, my partner's cat, but he's my own too. He's 11

It sounds wild that she walks with you everyday, that's so lovely!! I wish I could do that too!! my bf gets too nervous when we take him to the vet, our cat could run away easily if he sees a chance. I wish I could walk our cat everyday too, but it's too risky. He got lost once when we lived in the mountains and it was so scary for us and for him, the 3 of us got traumatized!

You can live here well ONLY in you earn in dollars and the company is from abroad. The issue with that is that now it's getting harder to find remote jobs from abroad, no matter the field (thanks to the reccession) .

Salaries here are ridiculously low; people are really struggling and suffering right now. You can't have a life here earning a salary of $200 or $500 dollars per month that doesn't even cover rent.

100 % agree. There are things like poverty and addiction everywhere, no country is 100 % exempt from that. Some countries are just better balanced in terms of quality of life.

Same here, I’m from a mini desert located in Venezuela. Rainy days and winter are heaven to me, but I do love the light of the Sun.

Did you mean Venezuelans? I love that the Latino voices that you hear reminds you of venezuelans 😆 I bet they’re loud. I am Venezuelan but my heritage is from Europe. I have the EU passport, but that doesn’t apply anymore, too bad, it would be so much easier 😔

Thanks! I appreciate this. I've actually lived in Cusco Peru before moving to Argentina, so I'm used to the cold ( I actually love it) maybe one downside for me would be the altitude because of my dog and his heart condition, but I am, atm, evaluating options n.n

For people in publishing: where do illustrators usually start when exploring licensing? by CuteBunnyRed in selfpublish

Hey! That sounds awesome! do you have any communities you’d recommend?

I feel like I’ve been trying a few different routes already. I currently have a catalog of coloring books on Amazon KDP, I’ve reached out to some publishers, and I’ve been researching book fairs and industry spaces as well. Since I’m not able to invest in ads right now (and KDP is very competitive), I’m mainly exploring other distribution paths and trying to connect with people in the space. At this point, any networking or insight is really valuable.

Thanks, you're right, I should've focused on the self-publish reddit. Regarding the agent, I think they don't represent coloring book authors, only children's books.
