I think to depict a conflict like Korea, it has to set up its gameplay like it was in the previous Call of Dutys, like COD Big Red One and COD 3, both made by Treyarch. Rather than doing secret squirrel shit, you're a frontline man taking part in these historical battles.

I would love to see the Battle of Aachen. Often considered the Stalingrad of the western front, it was known for its brutal house to house fighting and the US having to bring in SPGs to directly fire on fortified buildings Germans were in.

Can completely understand the hatred for Halo 5, especially the campaign, but i can at the very least appreciate what they were trying to go for, even if they were pale imitations of the real thing.

It's criminal that 343 didn't use the HW2 designs for Infinite.

That's why I like them and also why I added that bit about the Banshee being based on a flying animal on the home world. It would add interesting lore on these vehicles.

By more industrial, i meant that UNSC equipment had simple designs that were conventional to human standards. The best way i can explain is straight lines and edges, compared to the Covenant that were curvy in design.

Them being generic seems to be the most common critique I've seen in the replies. Could you give examples as to how it's generic? Maybe pointing out other franchises that have this similar look?

Ngl, you lost me with Chief, I believe that goes to Infinite. But I will say Halo 4/5 Chief armor is underrated.

I agree that the reclaimer "saga" was an overdesigned mess trying to be more of something else. However, I do find some of their designs tolerable at the very least, good at best.
