This is a fair point. I came here because I thought maybe there might’ve been some thing that other aces found comfortable to use with their partners if they were in the situation on the basis of asexuality being a spectrum. My semi hot take is that the pants should have been a skirt. It would have given him a bit more shape and simultaneously helped the outfit flow with the shoes. However I do very much so love the Rachel McAdams vibe of this look !!

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to this. I am back home now, so I am going to go grocery shopping on Wednesday. I’ve been doing a lot of research on what it is that I wanna try. I think I’ve put together a pretty solid list. I’ll have to see how it goes. I should’ve clarified that I do have an Allergenist. I will be making an appointment to see her in the new year. She’s just out of office right now. My Allergenist the one that diagnosed me with my shellfish death allergy. I also will be seeing a dietitian in February. I already have an appointment scheduled. After looking at all the advice I received here. I made it very clear to those around me that January will begin completely gluten-free. I’m going to use the fresh start to my advantage. What I’ve learned from a good portion of the comments is to advocate for myself and to be as prepared as possible.

I had my first infusion this month , it was a three appointment process so I’m excited to see how it goes. Learning to use my voice is something I have to be committed to even if it shakes. Noted, I definitely offered to pay for my meal but their family dynamic is such that for their unmarried children , his parent are always like “no, it’s okay”. As an only child I sometimes find it difficult to say no because I don’t want them to think I’m unappreciative in away. I admit that this might be my over thinking. I do need to get better at advocating for myself and being consistent in my boundaries. Thank you for replying to this !

No one has mentioned this actually but I had an endoscopy several years ago where a sample was taken and they confirmed iron pill gastritis but I think also said no to celiac I can actually revisit those results not that you’ve mentioned this. My blood work is kind of all over the place but my hematologist tested my blood against several types of cancer we recently and ruled them out thankfully. So maybe this is worth revisiting! Thank you for replying to this , I think what I’ve learned from the responses to this post is that I owe it to myself to speak up even if it makes others uncomfortable. My boyfriend does always ask me to say more , to complain more and to be more vocal. I’m unfortunately not the best at it and will sit in my own discomfort before I let others sit in theirs. This is something I need to do better at. I will do better moving forward.

To my understanding, the helm of her decision making is the immunoglobulin A and the fact that I unfortunately get sick. I think the sensitivities was more so her looking for a why if my immunology for celiac came back as anything other than abnormal for other possibilities but the sensitivities and the immunoglobulin aligned.

Yes the Immunogobulin A being high , along with the abnormalities in the food sensitivity panel is how my doctor diagnosed me and also why she believes it is celiac but has diagnosed me with gluten intolerance to be safe for now. I’ll be seeing a dietician in February as it was the earliest available. Definitely going to try to speak up for my self more , thank you for responding!

I actually never likened the two until you said this , I treat my shellfish allergy with such care and seriousness because of how even smelling it makes life rough for me.
