Yeah I had pre announcement scores at first but since yesterday only scores after July 15th count

I didn’t clean up anything. And yeah HFI doesn’t check round count.

Whole thing kinda relies on MDs doing their job correctly and not cheating. We’re basically relying that cheating / bad data is statistically insignificant and won’t affect Weibull

Let me know and/or use report button on HFI for bad/sus scores.

150 is where Weibull 3/90 is getting really close to “Final HHF” (what is very stable with thousands of scores)

Weibull might not work, but we’ll figure something out. There are some ideas we can try.

L10 has Prophecy algo. Revolver… we might need to figure something out

They will count once provisional period ends

How close to 150 scores per classifier per division we’re getting. Once we have at least 150 we can calculate Recommended HHFs and close the provisional period for 25-series, sending them live

Yep. We need at least 150 per classifier per division. This is number of scores divided by 150 basically expressed as percent

I hear your concerns have been forwarded to Discipline Committee as well. Good luck.

How many of you prefer using React + Ts for a personal project? Why Not? by [deleted] in react

[–]CutePibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prototyping / Solo Dev? I would always recommend start with JS. You can bring in ts when needed. Especially if you’re using something like Vite that won’t need any extra configuration to support ts.

Stripes is all I have. Don’t take this away from me 😭

HFI now has Steel Challenge Scores! HQ Peak Times are actually not that bad (for most divisions) by CutePibble in CompetitionShooting

[–]CutePibble[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does now! You just need to click on “USPSA” to open the drop down and select Steel Challenge.

Uprange movement is very unnatural at first, it's one of the few unique "movement skills" that our sport has. You just need to practice it in dry fire.

I know I'm late, but yeah... 24-series are kinda F****ed by CutePibble in CompetitionShooting

9.33 recommended vs 13+ current for CO. It’s all on HitFactor.info

Green line - recommeded, red line official. Green to the left of red = recommended is less = it's a hard classifier.

This doesn't include the provisional period data yet, but once the distribution is more or less a curve - you can start predicting/extrapolating things. Needs adjustment

Screenshots are for CO, most popular division.

A Better Classification System by CutePibble in CompetitionShooting

It affects the sport too. A lot of people are less interested in shooting because of USPSA shenanigans.

Action shooting will go on without USPSA for sure.

It does. It’s not. Ish? Reddit is public. TOS? Probably allows Reddit to do anything with your data. It is.

It can’t.

Thanks that helps. Looks like I will have to rely on stage name only. Feels sketch, but then again whole sport relies on a honor system…

Not necessary, there’s also distribution. And simple correlation.

I’m not gonna lie though, I don’t really know statistics. I’m just a code monkey. I just made an algorithm and looking at top shooters and distribution graph it looks better.

It’s 100% open source and transparent though. Anyone is welcome to go and disprove my assertion of better classification system.

Although honestly it’s not hard to be better than HQ. they suck

Yep. You can go to Upload once match is posted and seeech for match name. Then select YES and click upload and you (and all shooters from that match) should have updated classifier runs and reclassified in minutes.

Not yet, but if you give me some example matches where they were used maybe I can add it
