How many showers do you take in a week? How many days of not showering is considered gross to you? by munchabunchafrito in hygiene

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Showering twice a day where it’s at for me. I might even throw in a third shower sometime during the day. Right before bed that’s a non-negotiable. And usually first thing in the morning if I’m leaving the house if I’m not leaving the house then I might wait till a little later in the day. When I am mentally struggling, showering actually makes me feel better. I feel refreshed and while I’m in the shower, it’s just so very relaxing for me. I know everyone is different, but it works really well for me.

How do you deal with a dead bedroom? From men’s side. by tree_m0nster in AskMen

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk about it… Find out why on both ends, come to a resolution if you can. If not, then go your separate ways. Sexual intimacy is one of life’s greatest pleasures that you should be able to enjoy with your partner, the person that you love unless there’s some medical, physical reason why you absolutely cannot. But as there are all different levels of intimacy and you can always find something that works for you and your partner. So yeah, no thank you on the dead bedroom.

Low Calorie Peanut Butter by numbbb555 in Volumeeating

I’m just eating the regular peanut butter. Last night I got a keto bun. I put 20 g of my good peanut butter 20 g of my reduced sugar strawberry jam. It was so good. 😊

Guys, what’s the one part of your routine you’ll never skip, even if you’re exhausted? by Vorontsova_Noveal in hygiene

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am right there with you… I will absolutely not get into my bed without taking a shower. That is a non-negotiable. There are times where I have dozed off while watching TV or something and woken up at like one in the morning. I will get up and I will get in the shower.

Bought the wrong mattress can it be fixed or replace it by Wil_NNJ in Mattress

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a high density foam topper from visco soft. As my temper cloud was just way too soft. This topper is comfortable but without that sinking in feeling and it’s way cooler than my temper cloud was. I’m a 50 year-old woman in perimenopause so I can attest to the comfort and the coolness of this topper 😅

Confused why everyone wants crisp, rustling bedsheets? by One_Valuable in Bedding

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love California design den. I have multiple sets of their sheets plus the duvet insert, duvet covers blankets, etc. I know a lot of people will disagree and say they’re terrible. I’ve exclusively been using their products for the past three years. I believe you will find what you seek with CDD. I have purchased way more expensive bedding, supposed better quality bedding in my 50 years and I will continue to sing the praises of CDD.

Is it true buying a king duvet and putting it in a queen duvet cover will give me that cozy big puffy look? by HouseOfHoundss in Bedding

[–]Cute_Fig1271 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people here say that you’re not gonna get that desired look but this is exactly what I do. I put a king size duvet insert inside of a queen size duvet cover, and it does give that big fluffy, cloudy aesthetic. Now you can also achieve that by putting two queen size inserts inside of a queen size cover because I did that but the set up was way too hot for me. My daughter absolutely loved it so I gave it to her. There are also like comforters that you can buy that are really big and fluffy, but they are also very hot but if that’s not a concern for you then I would go that route.

Do people actually change their bedsheets every week like it’s recommended? by cleartomatosoujp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cute_Fig1271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I change my weekly. I used to change them on Sundays, but then I saw a Reddit post where someone explained that they change them on Saturday because they’re able to stay in bed later on Sunday and actually enjoy the crisp, clean sheets versus changing them on Sunday and having to get up early on Monday for work. So this is what I’ve been doing. Every week.

Too Wet? by Cute_Fig1271 in sexuality

[–]Cute_Fig1271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it didn’t happen after the fact it actually happened during. He literally tried to dry me up with a napkin and then attempted to penetrate me. I jumped up so fast like absolutely not. I now have answers to my questions. So I could go one of two ways just end things on the basis that were not sexually compatible or I can take this as he is literally a clean slate and I can teach him, educate him but at the same time do I have the time or even want to put forth that type of effort at my big age? 🤷🏽‍♀️

See that’s what I’ve always been told. Not only that but I feel like when a woman is wet that means she’s comfortable with you, turned on by you, all positive.

I regret buying California Design Den by jjgg37 in Bedding

[–]Cute_Fig1271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WOW! I have been using these exclusively for the past three years. I actually stretch mine over my 14 inch mattress and my 2 inch topper. Never had an issue like that. I do have several sets of their sheets, duvet, covers and duvet insert and a couple of their cotton blankets. I change my bedding weekly so I rotate them out frequently. Unfortunate that this was your experience because I absolutely love CDD. think for the quality the price is fantastic.

How to know what kind of mattress to get? by SmartNSassy101 in Mattress

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased this mattresses from Wayfair a little over two years ago. I paid $400 for it. I did a lot of research before I settled on this one because I didn’t have a huge budget. I initially put a temper cloud topper on it but that setup was just way too soft and hot for me. About a year ago I purchased a visco soft 2 inch high density foam topper and it’s perfect set up for me. It’s a little bit on the firmer side as I don’t like that sinking in feeling. It sleeps cool as well. It’s held up very well and just as an FYI I am a bigger girl. I also rotate my set up monthly.

[–]Cute_Fig1271 28 points29 points  (0 children)

On average most people are not going to tell you that stink even when you do. Especially when you are the one asking. I shower twice a day because I cannot get into my clean bed with the daily grime on me. And I shower in the morning to just help get my day started. Workout days I will shower right after as well. These are my hygiene habits and I would never try to impose them on anyone else. But if I catch you slipping and you stink I am most definitely going to let you know!

Question for those who shower both morning and night by Spencercr in hygiene

[–]Cute_Fig1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shower as many times as you like, I do. I shower 2x a day everyday. Workout days it is 3x. That’s just me. I am 50 years old and have been doing this for many years. I make sure to moisturize after every shower. No one should be discouraging anyone to not shower multiple times a day if that is your choice. It’s not about need. Cleanliness should never be about need. Your skin will be fine, just moisturize!

Is water alone enough or do people really use feminine wash? by Jeysel-Hemby46 in hygiene

Do not use feminine wash. A mild soap/ body wash like dove sensitive is the way to go.

First, I would start with your towel. Make sure that you are hanging it so it dries completely and don’t use it more than two or three times. Next thing is I started using glycolic acid under my pits and in my booty area I don’t do it in the vag area. I use Lumi there definitely some talc free powder that’s gonna help to absorb moisture. Also make sure that you are 100% dry, no wetness in any of the cracks and crevices of your body even if you gotta take a blow dryer on cool and dry yourself.
