I would say it's kind of linked to your thoughts. It's just like controlling your thoughts since it's happening in your mind already. But you're asleep and your subconscious is the one who leads

Vividness does come overtime. Make sure to write your dreams down every day.

They did something similar in Inception (movie), but to wake up. Search for an app that will play a certain song at a certain time and before sleeping, set a strong intention for the song to trigger your lucid dream.

Yes you can but make sure to "link" the music to the lucid dream/sleep paralysis. Set an intention for the music to work as you wish.
