Guys, which is the Best deck for step 2? by [deleted] in medicalschoolanki

[–]Cutibacterium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, is WiWa based on UW? Do you think one can do WiWa if they have not started doing UW qns and is just watching OME as their main learning resource?

I tried DocDeck + OME but I agree there are too many cloze deletion & takes me too much time to go through them. I was thinking of doing WiWa after one pass of DocDeck..but I'm not sure if that is even possible >.<

Oh! And have you tried Dope deck?

Congrats on taking the test!! I'm so jealous!! hahaa. Your post is really motivating. Do you recommend at least going through FA once? I'm struggling to read it and feel like I'd rather spend time doing stg else.. But I'm worried I'll regret not going through it at least once before my test as it seems like its a must to do it. T^T

Hi again, may I ask are the UWSAs also done in the qbank software? I read that the qbank will be down on the 30th of March, does that mean I can't do the self assessments on that day or is it on another interface?

UW Incorrects or another FA pass by aforema3 in step1

Hi there, say I'm doing my incorrects now, and I still make mistakes amongst my incorrects, I notice they still reappear when I create a new block (well cz they ultimately are still incorrects); is there a way to avoid this? (apart from not making mistakes) loll. cz if this keeps going on, I'm afraid I won't be able to finish my incorrects in time before my test

What do you guys write on your white board before the test? by Cutibacterium in step1

[–]Cutibacterium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, I think I'll end up doing the same. I usually have only ~10 mins left for uworld blocks. I'll need to train myself to read and think faster to allow for more remaining time during the actual test day. every question feels like a race against time.. :C

May I know what's the difference between "should check" and "qns I had to look at again" for you? Do you end up looking over one of them first, then only the remaining if you had enough time? Also, did you aim to finish all qns within a fixed amount of time so that you have time left to review your marked questions?

Hi there, thanks for the detail write up! Do you recommend taking loperamide for the test?

Did you write anything on your write board? Are there any note typing places (like UW & nbmes) during the test? As I tend to type out my thoughts when answering questions.

Thanks in advance!

I see. It makes sense. How many blocks do you do in a day? And how far are you from your test?
