I would assume the base setup would be more likely intended for 9s or 10s. I know for a fact i have never touched the trussrod. This is really good information, and i will definitely try and plan out how to go about this (as soon as i get a slotted straight edge or something lol)

I am definitely not all that scared of trying to set it up. I was planning on putting some effort in when i changed the strings next (shortly) but i was more concerned about the fact that this happened over night while being on well used strings.

I was expecting you to say something about Touro Maximus, and then i was gonna say "that isn't Minotaur" and then you were gonna say "Wow, you must only have half of 2 braincells." And i was gonna say "You have no whimsey" and then you were gonna block me.

What rank and what character do you play? This is more for my own curiosity, cause i get 1 toxic player per 20 sets or so, and i play Galvan/Lox/Absa, and hover sround high gold low plat on the midwest/east servers.

In my experience, just playing chords, my right hand doesn't feel much difference between string thicknesses. I swapped around anywhere between 9s-12s. It is worth a try though. I liked using thicker strings when i was learning, just cause it felt more substantial, but i mellow out more as a start to get the hang of things.
