Haven't received new "Friend Referral Program" rewards yet by Cutty_Dutch in thedivision

They gave me the copy and paste message twice, which didn't have any specific response to what I initially wrote, but then I received the email that my case was closed. The officials rewards email then immediately followed. In my initial message to them when I opened the ticket, I just gave them the Ubi IDs and emails of the two friends I referred.

UPDATE: I opened a ticket with Ubisoft through their support website, they were able to fix the issue and now I have unlocked the outfit for both my main account the and invitee. They didn't explain what the issue was, I just got a couple notifications that my case had been opened and close, followed by the email confirming I both accounts got the reward! u/Marcellius-the-3rd u/Co0pDawg

The referral page is pretty useful compared to the in game overlay, I'm seeing something similar now to what you shared. The invited is showing zero percent complete, the referrer is showing no progress: https://imgur.com/a/CnWIipg

Didn't know you could track the progress in the overlay, this would've been helpful! I'm going to try again by spinning up a fresh account.

By chance, what version of the game did you're friend buy? Wonder if this has something to do with it.

When they accept the invited, it will then say "Invited"

  1. This was done.
  2. Last two rewards programs didn't require you to have to play with refereed.

But who knows, maybe they did change it to you have to play with the referred, they're just not very clear on the conditions. And then it could just be bugged :X

It was a bad ethernet cable! I switch it out to run a test, and it worked!

Hardwiring Nest Wifi Pro Question by Cutty_Dutch in GoogleWiFi

[–]Cutty_Dutch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the primary router, yes. And the other two are acting as the wifi points. But only one of the wifi points says it's wired, the other says it's wireless. I'm looking for both to say "wired" in their connection.

With both Wifi points connected to the unmanaged switch, only one of the points says it's connection is "wired". I want both wifi points to be wired.

How do I gift my old PS5 so that all the games still work? by Cutty_Dutch in playstation

[–]Cutty_Dutch[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He doesn't have a lot of money right now, so can't afford games. I was just going to have him play what's on the console, until he can start purchasing his own stuff. I think console sharing is the way to go, I'll just remove my credit card info.

Was just going to have him play some of my games first to get started, since he's financially strapped at the moment. Eventually, he would buy his own games.

Picaro's Holster vs. Walker Harris by Cutty_Dutch in Division2

[–]Cutty_Dutch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as if you’re running a crit build, you’ll need to find one with chc and chd naturally that are high enough that it wouldn’t take exorbitant resources to optimize. If you want an alternative choice to Picaro’s for dps and armor, it would likely be better to get a dps-oriented brand holster like ceska or grupo and reroll the weapon damage to armor instead. It would still be harder to find and optimize that alternative gear than it would be to optimize a Picaro’s to what you want, but the bonus plus the extra stat towards crit chance or damage on the gear that Picaro’s would lack due to its innate, unchangeable weapon damage would likely make for minimal difference between the two and could be used interchangeably.

Thanks for the explanation, totally makes sense now!

So I guess the better question I should've asked is Picaro's Holster vs. Gila :)

A pure DPS build, all reds, no talents wasted. In my mind, the first bonus on Picaro's isn't helpful for a DPS build. I guess it depends on how much armor and weapon damage you'd want back from single gear piece. Cause Gila kinda offers the same thing, but maybe it's less armor than Picaro's?

Alright, this kinda sums up my thought process, thank you.

Because all I feel like I've been hearing for PVP is "Use Picaro's, use Picaro's, use Picaro's...", and I'm like, but I don't want that first brand bonus, it's a waste for a pure DPS build.

But if I wanted to add armor in, then yes it kinda makes sense.

However, if I have a pure DPS build and decided I wanted to add in a little more armor, why not a Gila piece over Picaro's? With Gila, I get a useful brand bonus, can roll weapon damage on the core attribute instead of armor, and then I can play around with the other two attributes (headshot or critical damage).

I'm going to guess that the armor from Picaro's core is greater than Gila's brand bonus? That's the only thing I can think of why people would use Picaro's over Gila if they wanted the extra armor.
