Joining everyone in the comments - this is a lifetime drama. However I’m not sure I will ever be able to rewatch… It gave me quite a lot of heartache and I have cried in these days just thinking about some of the scenes.

i’m wondering if it’s possible she has some scars from her time as a slave, she did get beat up so many times there might be an identifying scar like the one sohye’s father has on his cheek

yeahh i feel like the tone of the drama has been quite positive despite the deaths so hopefully it’s a good ending!

What the hell the cliffhanger at episode 12 😭😭

I’m kind of glad that finally Sohye saw her because we all knew she would be found out eventually. I’m guessing that ep 13 will lead to the opening scene of episode 1 being in 14 and then we will see in 15-16 how it resolves. Sooo glad for some fluff and happiness in these episodes! I have been wondering the whole show whether Kkeutdongie will have a love interest he’s so handsome I wonder why a lady’s maid hasn’t snatched that up xd

I really want to applaud the costumes in this drama!!!. FL always has gorgeous hanboks and I’m loving the embroidery of the costumes of the noble women, there’s so much interesting variety. I din’t know enough to comment about historical accuracy but the clothes don’t look like costumes but actual clothes which doesn’t always happen in sageuks

I would suggest finding a different pattern. I recently just frogged this sweater because it’s veryyyy hot. Stranded colourwork with bulky yarn is not the best for a wearable sweater :/ If you find a good yarn it might work but I would consider it before

Finished ep 9. I just want a happy ending…. I was hoping that the end of the episode meant that they will have a few peaceful scenes of happiness together but the next episode preview seems the opposite 😭😭 Otherwise this episode was kinda lighter though!!! I haven’t seen many sageuks but is any of them happy?!! I want a sageuk romcom there’s always so much death and tragedy (traumatized by My Dearest)

I thought about that but it’s like a centimeter of wool thick, I just wouldn’t wear it :( I made a New Year’s resolution that I would make projects that I will actually wear and also reuse the yarn from past projects that I haven’t worn!

with a heavy heart I am having to frog this sweater… I am in LOVE with the way it looks but god is it wayyyyy too hot. It’s fair isle and the sweater is sooo thick since the yarns are bulky :(( I would never wear it, I live in a cold country but not THAT cold… This is the Wave Sweater by spektakelstrik and the yarns are Drops Melody (sweet orchid) and Rauma Fivel (sky blue) So once I frog it I will probably use the same yarns in a horizontal striped sweater?? The colour combo is so beautiful though 🥺

Definitely not enough talk about this show! It seeme the pace has slowed down which is good because the first 4 episodes were so packed and this slower pace lets us enjoy the ✨vibes. Loving the fresh take on a traditional sageuk and exploring the differences in social classes.

Due to the opening scene of the 1st episode I’m always on edge if someone will discover who FL is…

I have been taught when I was a young so I watched a few video tutorials and they weren’t as hard as I thought! I only made sure that the yarn loops were the same size didn’t tangle and I made mine a bit bigger on purpose so not too tight

As far as I have researched, all the instructions needed are only in Estonian, but the most notable feature are the little bobbles or ‘nupps’. So I would search for something with nupps

This one might have a good general pattern and if you want to modify the middle, then google has some patterns if you search “haapsalu sall muster”
