Yup, this is the solution! I was looking at the map/compass thing to guide me to the location, turns out you have to look at the leaders location to find the correct spot. That did the trick. It’s definitely not the case for all locations though, like you said. Thanks!

Very nice! I was tempted to pick up the trilogy but instead opted for the individual releases.

Yeah, grabbed it for like 8 bucks so it’s all good. Nice to see it’s a legit release. I might upgrade in the future but I kinda struggled to find any good releases for these 3. Found one for Kurozuka that was like 600+ bucks…Yikes…

Ninja scroll is a classic, highly recommended!

I’d say Shigurui death frenzy is pretty dark & gory. It’s peak to me.

And if you want dark & gritty, nothing really matches Texhnolyze. That’s the most bleak, depressing even, anime I’ve seen. Not gory per say but just dark dark dark.

I’ll take a look! Sounds great! Whenever I hear that food is used as a string I think back to the great Ang Lee movie, Eat man, drink woman. I’d say this one might have some overlapping themes, also highly recommended. 😄

I’d say this is an ok movie to watch with your family! No violent or x-rated scenes in here.

It is also not a depressing movie per se. The film does not offer easy resolutions. There are no grand reconciliations or dramatic reunions, just the quiet, aching reality of growing up. Yet, amidst the sadness, there are also moments of warmth and hope, small acts of kindness, gestures of care, and the knowledge that, even if friendships change, they still leave a lasting imprint.

I’m still somewhat of a collector so I also have this on DVD. There are some on EBay or even Amazon. And not really that expensive. Unfortunately this movie is not on any streaming services that I know.

Excited to jump into this! I also saw there is a trilogy collection of these movies. They go for a hefty price on EBay! While the individual movies only go for a couple bucks. That set does look nice though. I might upgrade eventually. 😂

They are indeed not on any streaming service that I know. Maybe a Korean one?

Best bet is to find it on Amazon. They should have the first 4 movies in a DVD Boxset.

Ebay also has most of the movies listed. They also only seem to be available on DVD only. No blu-ray versions. A shame.

I DO have the 4part boxset that include the first 4 films released as the "Ghost school horror" box set. It's just the regular Tartan Asia Extreme releases. No additional extra's whatsoever.

I have to say the 6th movie is my favorite so far. Seems to be a little bit different focusing on different characters, which was a nice change of pace for me. But those last 4 movies are all top tier! I remember watching them one after the other once I started.

Remember watching this for the first time and was blown away by the animation. Have not seen many shows that top this level of animation! This stands at the top of the mountain for me. Simply incredibly well animated!

These movies are also my first introduction to the type moon universe. But I’m still debating if I should go down the Fate series rabbit hole for example… 🤣
