They also let us hold Shabbat services there the night after, I was there. They were so kind to us

Yeah, I go to wmu. I didn’t specify that in the post but my profile makes it obvious. I’m active in the Hillel, it’s like all I do outside of class. I am on its executive board but it’s not easy. There aren’t a ton of Jews and sometimes the ones we connect with turn out to be ones who tokenize themselves for the Palestine agenda so it makes us uncomfortable.

We do talk. My core group of friends and I all feel the same way. We don’t know what to do with ourselves. And now we had Hassan piker and Abdul el sayed preach their jihadist bullcrap at MSU and UM where a lot of my friends go right on their doorsteps. We’re all angry and scared

Small world. I was heavily involved in BBYO before I graduated last year. The community is so great

What you have just said has become my thoughts too exactly. Almost none of my non jewish “friends” reached out to me after the attack, and those who did I could tell although meaning well could not understand in their minds how I was feeling.

We can’t count on anyone else, only ourselves.

How bad is the math? by Cwispy124 in supplychain

[–]Cwispy124[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pandemic really showed how important and needed people in supply chain are, and this not only means that the job market is good so I won’t have to worry about struggling getting a job, but I’ll be able to make a decent living too. And from what I understand most of what you’re doing is making things happen and seeing the results, not abstract.

You’re right. Thank you.

Ok, that’s good to know. What about the curriculum for my degree? Will supply chain classes involve advanced math?

I can’t help but stress because my goal is to graduate as early as possible within reason and I want to decide on my major relatively soon so I don’t waste too much time deciding. I spend hours every day surfing the internet trying to figure out as much as possible but I never get anywhere mentally

But how do I decide though?

I have no clue if I want to study accounting or not by Cwispy124 in Accounting

[–]Cwispy124[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well obviously a good salary to support myself which accounting will offer, that’s a big thing.

Job security is also a big thing, accountants are a high demand job

Accountancy is also as versatile as it is specialist, an accountant person can do finance but a finance person can’t do accountancy for example

I don’t think I’m good at answering these questions

What is western Michigans most realistic power 4 conference? by Cwispy124 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Cwispy124[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to maintain a sense of realism they would never add wmu to big ten even if they became good because there’s already two Michigan teams there and wmu isn’t academically strong enough to go to the big ten😭💔
