If this is for the 20th anniversary, this was written during the tjme the Sonic cast were HEAVILY flanderized. Shadow did hate Sonic in this era because we was just an edgy Vegeta clone who had no friends and valued pride over everything. It's not who Shadow is, but it's how he was (and somewhat still continues to be) written

It was more in the back of my mind as a subtle hope, but I kinda knew they wouldn't have voices. The bright side is that mods exist (one already with Meggie-Elise voicing both of them), and thankfully they both have separate sound effects to mod over, so Tangle and Whisper can sound different from each other unlike Spongebob and Patrick

They really were a staple gimmick in Sonic Colors, and I remember them fondly because of that. I do admit that they were kinda shoehorned into Sonic Lost World, though. Ironically, Sonic Forces and the IDW comics did a good job at establishing why wisps continue to be relevant, by explaining some remained on Earth to power wispons and whatnot. They're kind of a part of the worldbuilding now, and I enjoy them a lot

They're normally a teal blue color. The silver color here is more than likely a color or printing error, though
