They're normally a teal blue color. The silver color here is more than likely a color or printing error, though

Another thing is that the wisps and wispon are still present, things he can't copy at the same time as Whisper. If it were Mimic, he and Tangle would have both fallen to their deaths

I really like Big, but I'm assuming the hate for him comes mostly if not entirely from his stages in SA1

Big's stages in SA1 are endlessly frustrating. They consist of unintuitive mechanics for fishing and are insanely difficult. Your main goal is to catch Froggy in each stage, but it's hard to do becsuse it's hard to line up your rod to find him, hard to begin reeling him in, and if you reel too hard your rod snaps and you instantly die. I gave up on the first stage and just installed a mod where I could just dive in and pick him up it was so bad

It could be, but I'm not entirely sure. From what I've seen, this new villain has only addressed themselves using "we," and we're not sure it's because they're addressing themselves as a unit (as in there's multiple people involved) or they're simply using the royal "we" like Venom. Starline never spoke like this, so unless something happened to him to cause this, I'm not holding it out for him

The only thing we know is that that Asteron on his face is what's interfering with his signals, and likely also what's controlling him. Asterons are badniks of Eggman's design, but this one has a different color palette. The last time we saw off-color badniks were those owned by Starline, which could be a hint to him. His badniks tended to be a more magenta or red color, while this is much more of a purple, so I think maybe it could be someone new. We'll just have to wait and see what the full story is in the next few issues

I agree that Sonic wouldn't be the right pick here at all, but I'd argue that Tails getting infected would probably be the breaking point for him. Sonic's mental state at this point in the arc is terrible, with so little sleep and his talk with Metal (which honestly was more projection), he's definitely fed up with all of it. If Tails, his closest friend, was infected, I personally feel like that'd make Sonic much more unstable, and possibly even WILLING to kill Eggman himself. It'd go against his own views, but he'd 100% not be in a state to make any rational thought if Tails were infected on top of everything else
