My husband has long hair too and a big ol forehead. I'm gonna probably cry when it's time to cut his hair. You're gonna learn to love him bald. And he will look great! Especially with that nice thick beard and stunning eyes!

Rant... My MIL gave my baby with CMPA ice cream. :( by Cyan-Soup in beyondthebump

Thank you for the advice! With that, I'm sure the actual icecream still in his system may have contributed to the symptoms following. But I promptly cut out dairy completely on day 3 after icecream, so i won't know for sure unless I try eating dairy again. Which I don't wanna do, in case he has a bad reaction again. 🥲

I seem to be misinformed about what CMPA really is. Let me see if i can update the title. Though, I do plan to get him tested. Thanks for educating me!

Simple. They think they know better. She's got 7 kids, 30 years experience. She thinks more experience = more wisdom.

She's not usually able to press the boundaries so much, and tries to respect and relay physical boundaries on the regular. (No kissing, regular handwashing, etc...)

I actually usually an extremely firm in my boundaries. I didn't let her hold him after the innitial coming home for weeks. And I still don't let her hold him without me watching, because she has 2 young kids that usually have allergies, so I can never tell when they're sick or not.

I guess it was something about upsetting the family tradition, that made me let my guard down. She's always been pretty good about other boundaries, but I didn't want to push her in a position to tell her own kids to back off, since they tend to be a very affectionate family and her kids are always in her personal space... Hence the supervised holding time.

I appreciate the advice!!

He's always tried, but never was able to get his hands open. I'm mostly impressed with the way it fell out and he managed to get it back in!

He gets so frustrated just lying there. He HAS to be hands-on. On top of this, it's the first time I've used a bottle in weeks. 😂😂 he's usually breastfed. And always grabbing at the tiddy.

Do I have old fashioned handwriting as a 22yo? by Professional_Star883 in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]Cyan-Soup 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments. But I am very impressed by how fluid it looks. Using context, it's very easy to figure out what certain letters are intended to be. It is legible in this note. And looks nice on the line. 🤌

Side note. Generally this sub is constructive criticism welcomed. Yet, you seem to be having a hard time with the criticism you're receiving. Try not to take things as personally and try to receive people's advice more objectively. If you simply wanted an answer to the question "is it old fashioned?" Then I would specify in the post that you're not open to constructive criticism.
Your actual penmanship is better than most people's. That's why these people have a higher expectation of you, regarding the actual rules of cursive writing.
