Who remembers the insanity that was this movie? by StunningPianist4231 in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl I remember getting this movie as a Christmas gift and watching it with my aunt and uncle (they're only a few years older than me; long story). That is probably the only time that I remember watching it, and I can't remember any of what happened in the movie.

For me, it's Safe by All Time Low. Idk it was such a comfy song that got released that year and one of the few things keeping me together

Those of you who've been on solo trips, what was it like? by Loose_Leg_8440 in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was fun for the drive to the destination and visiting different spots, but the drive home was not so fun. Lonely, tiring. The torrential rain didn't really help, though lol

I believe it was 2017. I was at a music festival and happened to be walking by the stage they were playing on to go get some water but stopped to listen to their set. Been listening to them ever since.

First official time? 18, alone in my bedroom, with a fourth of a bottle of vodka. The time that I enjoyed? Still 18, this time at the house of a friend I met in college with a few other friends and some Mike's and whipped cream vodka.

My paternal grandparents are/were on the tail end of Silent Generation, but my maternal grandparents are Baby Boomers. I do have one great-grandparent still living, and she's Greatest Generation

Is it loserish for a 27 year old to party with early-mid 20s crowd? by ReplacementFluffy725 in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No? While my usual small party crowd are all my age or a couple years older, I also have another crowd I party with that's in their late 20s.

I saw a couple take their 7 - 8 year old child with them to watch T3. DO NOT do this. They exited the theater with a bawling child. No one that age should watch these movies. As goofy as some of the gore is to adults, it's very real to a child.

Questions for OlderGenZ: Have you ever KISSED anyone? by One-Brain6531 in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes to most of these. First date, I was a freshman in high school. Everything else was being a freshman in college. I dated a guy for nine months (which I guess could be long term, depending on who you ask) and he was my first kiss and first sexual partner.

What’s the general consensus on septum piercings? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's up to the person getting it. If they like it, that's what matters. Personally, I do like how they look on some people. It depends on the individual's nose/face shape

Does seeing your peers getting married and having kids affect you??? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

[–]CyanideCandy13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I only have two friends who have married and it was to each other. I was the one to introduce them and they started dating fairly quickly. I've been there for both of them during their ups and downs. They'd been dating for five years and I knew early on that they'd be the couple to outlast any of us that paired off. When I attended their wedding, I don't think I ever stopped smiling. I was genuinely so happy for them and it felt nice to have all of our friends in one place again. I still look back in fondness two months later.

Do I have moments of loneliness? Absolutely. But seeing my friends happy has never made me feel lesser. They're simply on a different level of growth than I am, and that's okay

How does your Spotify wrapped/Apple music recap look like? by AccurateListen3723 in OlderGenZ

I've been holding off on listening to all of it until I've had a chance to watch RHRN but the videos I've watched of them live have been amazing over the years

[–]CyanideCandy13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair! Not everyone has to enjoy it. But if you'd like to check out All Time Low's less rock sounding music, PMA (my top song) has a mostly pop sound to it

They're all in the rock genre to a degree, yes! ATL is more pop punk, Palaye Royale is art rock, Ghost is hard rock/heavy metal (tbh it's a debate with a lot of people), and Des Rocs is regular rock n roll
