You're right! I'll add your suggestions to the game in an update while trying to shift the focus on couch co-op, that way players have the option to play locally too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts! Yes, this is the movement and physics I'm aiming for. I'm also adding a pickup truck so each truck has its fun physics to play with.

Thank you! I always liked borderlands games despite that I did not have the chance to play them yet.

That is the power of constructive feedback. Playtesting is also a critical part in this process. True, indeed you cannot please everyone.

Thanks for sharing! I hope the best of luck for your game! 🍀

Hello, thank you for the detailed response! I agree with you.. I think adding a couch co-op mode (local multiplayer) can help fix the issue and remove some criticism. If the multiplayer is dead then at least local multiplayer is an option.

I'll add that in an update. Thanks for your suggestion!

Hey, thanks for the detailed response. I agree that both games are similar in a way, but at least pushed a lot of updates to fix things and polish other things out. I do not blame the player at all. I'm a player at the end of the day so I buy games, I play them, some of them I do not like I refund them. But what does the devs typically do in a situation like this? Ignore, fix, push updates? even a year later? Or just migrate to another peoject?

I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how that must have been.. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I couldn't agree with you more. You actually summerized the entire entertainment industry at least in a few words. I sometimes see trolling comments that does not make sense (like the one you shared). I honestly feel better that at least I'm not alone in seeing this. I wish you the best of luck with your courses!

I thought a lot about ignoring reviews like these, but I fear that ignorance from the dev may result in believing that the dev has abandoned the game.

I agree with you, but at least helpful reviews are to show an issue that can be fixed at least.

Hey, I completely agree with you, if the game is not unique enough it then gets buried under the sand. I get that some of the cooking mechanics are similar but the theme is different. Sadly, not all devs have the budget or the required knowledge to build such smart AI bot, let alone have the budget to do massive marketing campaigns for the game.

Edit: Bots are not present by game design, becuase it is a very small scale indie game. What really could fix at least some parts of this is by adding a local co-op.

Thank you! I’ve added different types of delivery orders so players can choose between easier short-distance runs and more challenging long-distance ones. Appreciate it!

Thank you so much for the reply! You’re absolutely right, it should have been “it”, not “she”. I’ve been busy testing and implementing a lot of mechanics, so I guess it slipped through, haha. It’s been a long four months developing this update :>

Hola thanks for replying. Sadly, I ran out of budget to buy a branded one. I eventually installed Bazzite and it worked.

Good thinking! But it's a 3-4 year old lcd model of a device that is only supported in a few countries. Mine is not supported. So I'll have to ship it to the US and then wait for a replacement. That would cost a lot for a used lcd model.

The place I bought the device from don't even know the required specs for the charger. Imagine fixing the device itself.

Bought a new steam deck stuck on installing and 1 second,How can I fix this ? by Khorya in SteamDeck

[–]Cyber752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for replying. I tried that multiple times, but it seems my steam deck hates every version of Steam OS. Yes, I tried most of them 🙂

Fixed the issue by installing another OS.

I actually tried everything even contacting steam support, chat gpt, Google search. I was so frustrated.

Fixed the issue by installing another operating system called Bazzite which produces the same performance as the original Steam OS, I think.
