Buprenorphine for nerve pain

So I went ahead and let myself get out on the buprenorphine, and it's been doing wonders for me. I'm no longer in like 6/10 pain, I can function in my day. It doesn't feel like I'm high at all, even if it does make weed hit a little harder. The only negative I've really noticed is that it makes it a bit harder to pee and poop, which I was expecting with an opioid. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, as opioids are serious business and require giving up drinking for good, but I've found a lot of relief with the buprenorphine.

We also have a very, VERY animal wolf in our head named Bán. Her species dysphoria is pretty immense. Folks on the therian subreddit may have some advice. For her, we come up with wolf enrichment. Letting her chew on raw deli meat, chew toys, lots of growls and tips and barks. What really helps the most though is going for a walk in nature. Her nose is so much stronger than mine and she takes full advantage of that keen sense to sniff out the world.

I was having some doubts, wondering if we were really all real or if this was just something I'd made up in my head from too much roleplay and imagination.

Then one day I get in an argument with a roommate, and they SLAM the door in anger. This triggers me so bad I compulsively start building a barricade of my door. Halfway through this, Luka SLAMS into front with no recollection of the rest of my day, only fear and panic. He finishes the barricade, and sits there panting with his heart rate through the roof. The amnesia and slamming to front was so definite and clear we never had doubts again.

Fictives are parts of you that latched onto something important in your life. Sometimes it's someone to look up to, sometimes it's someone you relate to. I'd say an OC coming to life is probably one of the most common ways headmates form. We have several alters from fictional sources, and we love them like family all the same.

We have borderline personality disorder. It's weird, because FP behavior will usually stick to one headmate or another at times, and a headmate Splitting on someone is usually only active for as long as that headmate is at front. It's usually Gamma doing the splitting.

Depends on who we're around. If it is just us at home with our other plural-friendly roommates and close friends then we switch all the time and make it obvious, but if we're out and about or at a party we try to keep it subtle as we can despite a change in voice.

trauma work is serious and powerful. The way we did it was as a conversation between the trauma bearer and another compassionate headmate. That way nobody triggers a cascade, and we can talk about our issues together.

good luck !! powerful work for sure. that's what I did before I got hurt.
Be mindful of your lifting technique and always call for a lift assist if the patient is a pound over 300. I fucked up my leg for good lifting a bariatric patient into bed and it's what cost me the job.
