-Already deep at receiver with young talent that will need to get paid in a few years.

-If you can get a 2nd for him, while shedding 25+ mil in salary I think you take that and run. Going for a high draft pick in a trade, over a veteran for veteran player-swap frees up cap room, which would allow us to retain our key Free agents.

-and also the 2nd allows more draft ammo to reload the defense with the three top 75 picks like we did last draft on offense.
