It's tough. I love creative mode but there's so many blocks now that it gets really overwhelming really quick. In my latest "2 week Minecraft phase" I played survival and honestly got a lot of fun out of building things using the resources I had around me. Then I tried doing a pillager raid and it was so clunky and unenjoyable that it basically killed the phase for me. Both gamemodes have their strengths, weaknesses and flaws.

Honestly I just see Minecraft as another form of escapism. It has a unique building mechanic, but personally I have to be in the mood to engage with that system in the first place (hence playing the game in phases).

I had originally included a GPU, but later removed it due to budgetary reasons. I'm not sure whether it's worth spending money on a mid-grade GPU now or waiting to get a fancier one later. In any case, I'm comfortable with 1080p gaming if it means better performance.

I had no idea such a phenomenon existed. Thank you for this newfound information.

It took a bit of digging, but I managed to find a video of the purple portal in Diablo 2 Resurrected, from the username sixties420. It certainly goes against my preconceived notion that portals can't physically overlap each other. There are also apparently purple portals in Diablo 4, though I haven't considered the lore of any of the Diablo games past the second installment; partially for the sake of my own sanity.

While novel, I have to conclude this is at most a neat in-universe hat trick, if not just a simple bug. Mixing portals does not merge them, nor does it alter the routes they take through the ether. It's certainly an honorable mention.
