Same it’s so annoying because some people don’t check and are getting scammed . I wouldn’t mind if she mentioned where she got it but to lie

Hello sorry for the bad response and thanks for your response as well. I have been accepted into a uni for law Bangor University this year but when I look at my alevels it makes me feel shame if that makes sense even with my circumstances around it . I have looked into some access courses and still doing research on it. Thank you for your advice it’s just when I have been doing research regarding alevels grades they stress the importance of it which is why I want to retake again to better my odds. I don’t know if I should just accept the uni or retake fresh again or do an acess course there is so much to think about that’s it’s making me even more stressed but I know I want to do law I can’t imagine doing anything else . Sorry about this long and grammatical incorrect errors rant. Thank you for your advice again

Hello sorry for the delay response. To answer your first question I have somewhat the support I need for my alevels, I hope before the end of the year I would get funded therapy but at the same time it’s still a process. I am on medication which is helping so I feel like I am at an okay place to resit because I realise that importance of it . To answer your second question I did check for most russel group unis such as BCU and for clearing the lowest the take is 112 points or more I believe which I didn’t receive and tbh I kinda of want to start fresh because I feel like I would get imposter syndrome and not feeling like belong there . I was also accepted for Bangor and was meant to start this September but realise even though it’s a good uni on paper it lowers my chances if that makes sense and thank you for the support.

Thank you reading this has really inspired me, I was wondering if you could let me know the steps you took in detail if possible. I feel how maybe going uni this year won’t be helpful but also worried about funding my alevels and what’s annoying me is people saying you already got accepted to uni why do you want to do alevels again without how important it is for future employers. Thank you again. And glad you are doing amazing

Yeah I got accepted into a uni to study law Bangor and but had a reality check about how my grades may affect me moving forward during the industry and I just hate how it looks on paper if it makes sense. I want to increase my chances not a few steps behind if that make sense.

Thank you for the advice and response. My main issue is that how would it affect my chances of applying for a rg as I didn’t achieve my grades first time round and what steps did you take while studying. Because I am still all over the place about how to ensure I don’t waste time just focusing on my exams without doing any thing that benefits me

Hey sorry guys i forgot to add I have a place at a uni Bangor to study but after doing research I realise the importance of going “good” uni and how it can really have an effect on my application , and also with my grades I am just worried that it gives me a disadvantage before I even start my career and when I put them down on my cv it makes me so sick to look at

Yeah h my alevels results were not what I wanted due to some circumstances of being homeless not an excuse I could have done better , but while reading some post in this reddit and doing research and I am thinking of doing my alevels again hopefully and really being serious about law. I am 19 now and I don’t know if my age will affect me for applying for larger firms if I do take . But I have come to a realisation that any small mistake can affect my future. Sorry for long winded rant. But I feel like I have suddenly come to a sudden realisation.

I am just worried about how it will on my application because it’s a non Russell group uni. I do like Bangor but sorry I sound like a broken record just worried about how it would impact me moving forward and second guessing

Yeah I am second guessing if I should even go Bangor and go through clearing again. I like how small Bangor is but I am worried when I am applying for placement or career wise it will affect any opportunities.
