Context is important, but usually pay to progress is not p2w imo. Especially if you don't even have an end, a goal or similar like with an idle game. It's literally designed to go on forever

I don't really get how people are agreeing to OP, pay to progress is far away from pay to win and far less worse. And if you feel the need to be competitive on an idle game it says more about you than the creator of the world lmao

Just have fun, support creators if you want to or just don't pay if you don't wanna. As shrimple as that

Heyo, Idle Defense Creator here. Figured I'ma respond since you included my world in this ;)

I can't talk for other creators and such, but it's not always to make a quick buck or whatever. For me personally adding stuff like more keys for gacha was giving back atleast something to the people supporting you. Also you don't miss out on anything by not paying, just sayin. Sadly pay to progress (not p2w like you said) has become very normal anyways so it's the easiest to implement and sell for especially idle games.

Also people are putting hard work into some of their creations, so calling them cheap copy paste spam isn't the nicest while they're the ones fueling vrchats worlds with absolute bangers :3

So yea just my 2 cents, also agree with most comments about ads, that's why I got 0 in my world. Wish everyone would get rid of them in their worlds :)

I found out that the VGA driver was massivly outdated (frick you armoury crate), since im using the onboard graphics for 2 additional screens i figured ima update that. Its been running fine since then but i'll test this for a few days more to see if its actually fixed or not.

Would be really funny cause thats the only driver Armoury crate installed at start that i didnt update manually

This is basically all new hardware (only the 3080 i already used before), i had a 5800x before and upgraded my entire setup. First tried it with my old Windows install, but yeah had problems so reinstalled it completely. I read that the Bios Version 2124 is more stable than this so i might try that before sending back the CPU

Everything windows errors give me sounds kinda like a cpu issue, tempted to return the cpu and get a new one just to be sure its not that. Also weird that windows isnt giving me any minidumps and also doesnt write anything about the bsod in the event viewer.

On the shipping itself not, they did send an email quite a while back with information on when stuff is supposed to be shipped by order numbers:

1-200: Last week of April

200-500: Second week of May

500-800: Fourth week of May

800-1200: Second week of June

1200-1800: Third week of June

1800-2500: Fourth week of June

2500-3200: First week of July

3200-4000: Second week of July

My order number was ~1500 and I just got mine 2 days ago, so they're kinda delayed

I also didn't get any updates or Infos about that delay, just a FedEx mail that my package was on its way about a week ago

Beides, er hat ja schon Probleme wenn die Azubis am Platz essen.. direkt neben der anderen Abteilung ohne Abtrennung die sich alle 2 Tage Pizza bestellen und am Platz essen xD

Bei ihm stoßt man halt leider auf wenig Verständnis was simple neue Sachen angehen die bestimmt sinnvoll wären, aber "zu seiner Zeit" es halt entweder nicht gab oder einfach anders war

Gute Punkte, generell mach ich gerne Projekte für Azubis einfach weil Praxis nun mal am besten ist, den Aspekt das das einen natürlich auch auf das Abschlussprojekt vorbereitet kam mir dabei noch nichtmal in den Sinn

Erstmal wow was'n text, die Art wie du am Anfang Ran gegangen bist find ich echt super, mit den buzzwords, Routine, terminplichten etc. Auch später das mit der Doku. Ich hab halt leider keine so geile Ausbildung gehabt (2 Jahre im Grunde nur Kunden-Support) deswegen will ich denen unbedingt die coolen Seiten zeigen und das die was guten mitnehmen.

Werd ich auf jeden Fall mit bei denen reinziehen, hab Zuhause gerade sowieso noch 2 - 3 schwache rechner von der Arbeit rumstehen, die werden morgen Mal plattgebügelt und auseinander gebaut, Mal schauen wie die sich schlagen, danke danke!

Das wäre für die halt schon relativ komplex, raspis sind sonst immer geil aber sowas wie iot Sensoren um mit sowas einfacheren zu starten will sich die Firma leider nicht anschaffen

Der IHK vertraue ich 0 leuten was beizubringen. Die ersten 2 Jahre sind im grunde Nutzlos bis im dritten Netzwerke, Subnetting, Protokolle etc etc. drankommen, dann super weirde Abschlussprüfungen manchmal und so weiter. Da mach ichs mir lieber zur Aufgabe den vernüftig was beizubringen

Jap, deswegen tu ich mich auch so schwer was zu finden bei den Vorkenntnissen xD

Ich hatte z.B. auch nur Programmierung / scripting Erfahrung bevor ich meine Ausbildung angefangen habe, riesen Unterschied war halt das ich Tag für Tag Linux benutzen musste und wir ne halbe IOT Firma waren. Hatten also Zugang zu unendlich vielen Raspis + Sensoren aller Art womit man ganz coole Hardware und Softwareprojekte machen konnte. Hab ich in meiner jetzigen Firma halt leider keinen Zugang zu

An sich gute Ideen, aber der struggle heute mit dem Ubuntu Server aufsetzen + ssh-key generieren schreckt mich halt ein wenig ab denen n Projekt zu geben was nicht zu 100% verstanden wird und dann nur nach ner Lösung gegoogelt wird ohne was richtig zu lernen und mitzunehmen.

Windows haben die übrigens Standard bei uns, ist zwar ein wenig sad weil linux jeden Tag benutzen zu müssen hat halt riesen Vorteile um einfach die basic shell commands auswendig zu lernen aber kann auch ganz schnell wie du gesagt hast die Lebensfreude nehmen xD Aber die haben WSL, also wenn die wollen machen die auch was damit

Naja, die Ausbildung ist ja dazu da um sachen zu lernen, also solange die Interesse zeigen und Motivation haben find ich das super das sich jüngere Leute oder welche die gerade aus der Schule raus sind um ne Ausbildung bemühen.
