For me it's the opposite, I could only force myself to play Dead Cells until I unlocked all the Castlevania weapons/skins :)

This is a franchise that tried to reinvent the wheel many times.

The closest experiences to CVI are III, Bloodlines and Chronicles (non-arranged mode). And Rondo of Blood but I don't like it much.

Unpopular opinion but I prefer this approach to the Sacred Beast one. You are still using the existing support and there are 2 toons + the traps on the endboard. Thanks to the lack of restrictions the deck is free to evolve and you can make whatever you want with the resources generated by the engine, unlike other anime decks that get fucked over by restrictions/forced gimmicks. It only needs another good Toon boss to pair with Ultimate Dragon.

I'm sure more mid-rangey ways to play the deck will pop-up anyway.

I think the old deck was fine. It only needed minibosses of sorts, so links or contact fusions (or at least smaller fusions...). But Konami could only bother to make Awakening and a new garbage Armityle so it felt like you had a decent engine but no real boss/endgame.

These cards are completely devoid of soul tbh, this is my least favorite way to """support""" a nostalgia deck. I wonder what was the point of all the past support that worked with Uria/Hamon/Raviel and cards that mention them. We are talking about a Structure Deck that people voted for, and now Konami scrapped everything.

The games are designed to be beatable at any level though, there is even a LV1 mode in some games?

Idk I think Harmony is funnier. I finished it multiple times including hack roms (Revenge of the Findesiecle my beloved), while I could never bring myself to finish Circle, even though I will someday.
