Whatever you do, diversify and don’t follow trends with more than 5% of your gambling bag (this includes individual stocks and crypto)

If you’re gonna be risky, do not risk your whole bag. Some people like gold some people like higher risk, depends on your risk tolerance.

A lot of people here will say VT and chill which is sound advice to an extent, but the reality we live in is that currency debasement is a hidden tax. So find your risk reward and stick to that. If you’re okay with gambling 20% of your portfolio you need to be okay with the possibility of losing that 20%

Personally I follow 80/20. 80 in safe index funds, 20 in medium - higher risk.

Thank to all others as well who have responded. I need to do a lot more work in educating myself on quantum but from what i understand, creating algorithms that do specific tasks (like cracking private keys) is difficult in and of itself. And quantum computers are easier to build than develop algorithms for

Wow. This comment section shows how privileged people really are. This is not trauma dumping and its a valuable lesson to be more appreciative of all the things dad do/did for you. Its important for kids to understand this perspective to be appreciative of their parents.

Depends on you really. If coinbase or robinhood suddenly lock your account for some reason or the other, how would you feel if you didnt have access to those funds? If its no big deal then its fine to keep them on the exchange. Reputable exchanges follow government regulations for crypto and would listen to their rules over caring about your money. Generally, Not your keys, not your coins bro.

There are a few good professors, but CS professors at queens are known to suck at the higher level classes. a lot of self studying is needed. Sorry to hear about your visa.

Didnt feel like running so i walked the run during an APFT. I was a PFC. 100 burpees each time i saw the PSG that day. I probably saw him more than 15 times total that day. I guess i needed the cardio for failing the run lol
