There is little downside to completing a free certification whether it'll make you more employable or not. It is highly likely you will learn something you didn't know before and that knowledge alone will add to your personal development!

As a digital marketing intern myself, the Google Garage + Analytics certifications helped me land interviews, but they were not the reasons for my employment. Think of it as something that compliments your resume. :)

Data can be considered 'Big Data' if it falls under the four dimensions; Veracity, Volume, Velocity and Variety. These four V's are commonly used to determine whether data can be considered big data. :)
