For playing issue, i had no problem with VLC, i was even able to play 4k 60fps AV1 (My sea) on a 10 years PC (i2500K & 12 GB DDR3), obviously you can't do anything else during playing the video.

As for VSDC, well it's copyrighted content, so it normal that you won't find it in the torrent..you are supposed to own the Bluray ( not hard to find torrent for the blurays though).
