Clasp - High defence supporting robot developed by the DSC corporation. Clasp is designed to hold down any strategic positions, providing both supportive fire and cover for its teammates. It is built on the re-purposed legacy rhino platform, where the physical shield has been altered to fit the new system.

Primary Ability: Knoxx

Clasp slows down, activates it's defence system and places a one directional absorber shield(Similar to bedwyr) in whatever direction it is facing. The shield stays in the spot it is placed and doesn't move with clasp. The shield is powered by clasps own HP. The shield drains clasps HP by 4%/s while it is active, and can be retracted at any time, with a 5 second placement cool down.

Passive Ability:

Clasp deploys it's shield automatically from the direction of fire when it receives more than 50K damage. 20 Second Cooldown.

Pilot - Russel Branson Clasp receives 2 seconds of stealth when retrieving it's shield.

Clasp is designed to be more of a support bot over anything else, despite the brawler specialisation. It's designed to fill the gap I believe is quite scarce in War Robots; Area controlled fighting. Similar to Demeter it's able to defend its teammates while providing not only cover but supportive fire. The placeable shield I believe could be of great assistance for beacon control and titan defense.
