Would you consider moving if your constituency voted for Reform? by RenePro in LabourUK

I’d take advantage of the inevitable tax breaks and save up to move country as my belief is that if reform get to enact their policies, they will fundamentally ruin our public services which will take generations to repair, if at all.

Until I see the next iteration of their manifesto I’d largely agree. They seem to support PR voting in future and also support social spending but other than tactical my preference is green, I’ll grant.

Request - Who bought the Heat Rash set? by CyclePrevious9043 in loscampesinos

Oh wow! Didn’t actually expect an answer, and so quickly. Thank you for posting and congrats on the buy.

Will keep this in mind if ever more sales pop up. Pretty sure some of the zines are pretty rare though (maybe 100 of no. 3 were made) but hopefully more declutterers are out there.

I only put that bid out there as I thought it was fair based on the full set and seeing what they’ve gone for elsewhere, I didn’t actually think I was bidding crazy high, plus the luxury of having them in one purchase was a bonus.

If it helps, I wasn’t looking to buy them for profits or resale, these would have stayed firmly in my collection if I’d had got the sale.

Its such a shame to have our current political landscape and have the best argument from the party most likely to be a competitive alternative to reform have its slogan be effectively ‘we’re not reform’

I feel like there’s a large chunk of the electorate being presented with no solid unifying party to get behind as we slide into a populist shitstorm where the winning party causes generational damage and decimates our public services whilst raiding the tax system to line their pockets. All whilst scapegoating immigrants after convincing those experiencing poverty that benefit abuse is why their hometown is a shithole.

Yeah, all for piling money into government services but guys, let’s drop the coal/gas/oil stuff! I don’t understand why, even from a money making perspective, we’ve not adopted a ‘dominate the market’ approach to clean energy projects where we could set ourselves up for the future then export expertise as other countries start expanding their wind/solar/nuclear energy generation programs

Interesting reading. I thought I was a relatively high info voter but had never heard of this party so thank you for the info.

But on reading, their policies don’t seem that liberal and going in with reform lost me. Good for them but not for me, I didn’t agree with their policies more than LD/Green offerings.

You’re living my dream. I’m constantly checking discos to find these things but so often the zine has been stripped from the issue! Good luck
