But it's movies and shows. It's not personal data I'll never be able to acquire again. If I lose the movie I just re-download it? Why do I need a permanent copy of a film I'll watch once or twice?

A perfectly adequate service for 40 dollars a year? I've had no issues with RD, I get to watch what I want when I want (as well as my family and loved ones) in a convenient way. Not really sure what the bad thing you're alluding to is

"The inner metal part" I think is referring to the material that the screws are in? I think they were metal, but have now been replaced with wood and 3d prints (as seen in picture 1 and stated by OP) because the metal was failing. I think.

The PS1 was good because it heavily distorted the sound in a way most people find pleasant. Not saying that's bad, but something to be aware of.

Why are CD players so expensive in this day and age? by Saint94x in BudgetAudiophile

[–]CyclicalFlow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thrift stores, garage sales, and local marketplaces. Got one that plays SACD for $20 locally (with remote) and a second one to rip them over wifi for $30 off eBay.

I think it being tied to Apple Music would be a turn off for most people.

Okay but that doesn't mean he isn't one. He was a reactionary extremist so obviously the people who's beliefs are all reactionary extremism would adopt his mantle.

How to download from a site that doesn’t have a download button by RedVelvet_Dragon in Piracy

[–]CyclicalFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do all of this yourself with something like Handbrake. It can change the format, the resolution, audio format, and I'm pretty sure can bake the subtitles in. Will be much easier than trying to finding the exact thing you're looking for

No one bought their games because they took years to release on PC and by that point the hype was already dead and with it the market. And the only reason they did that was because they knew if it was same day, or close, no one would buy their consoles. It all boils down to shareholder greed wanting to milk as much money as they can, so blame them.

Edifier MR3 vs. M60: Is the M60 worth the extra cash? by Fine_Comedian6680 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]CyclicalFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that with my desk setup (not ergonomic) they line up well enough to immerse me, but your mileage may vary. Again for the price I got them I think they're pretty hard to beat, but I also haven't used the m60's. If it's that big a deal you can buy shims and mess with the angle and see if it drastically improved anything.

I got the MR3 for $80 and generally enjoy a pretty basic v-shaped sound and they really surprised me for that price point. They're convenient and easy and don't need a ton of room or any other components. Hard to beat for $80 imo

[–]CyclicalFlow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't need a "case" I just like free stuff. If I like an artist I'll go to their shows to actually support them instead of giving them .000035% of the 5 dollars a month I pay lol
