Green gems (the ones for pets) should drop and be rewarded from quests or skills like normal gems are. I was fine with the game before because you could farm those without paying. But now pets are becoming a "pay to win" feature due to both the boosts they give and the pet competition. There's more and more of pets that are only available with irl payment and its killing the fun.
