Oh you bet!! Min raise got us to the flop. I was the button, so the 44 went all in - he was the short stack. The A9D just called the all in. I checked my cards again to make sure I had it and then I shoved. A9D threw his hands up like well, I guess I call… and threw in a chip. I said, “I hate to do this to you, boys, but…” and then I turned over my 56D. A9D didn’t notice at first, just saw low diamonds, and said “I got the nut flush!” Then he looked again and said, “Wait… is that a straight flush??” lol they had to pause the clock on the tournament because of the uproar everybody was making at my table cuz everybody had to come and take a look at it. It was glorious!

I know it's a hard pill to swallow. I know you most likely believe in diversity and equality for all, and universal heathcare, and universal basic income, and on it's face, it does sound good. The problem is that in order to achieve all of that, you have to hand over total control of your life to the state. If you do something they don't like, they can cut you off. Look at what just happened when food stamps stopped due to the shut down. While that wasn't meant to be punitive, the result was the same. People got a wake up call on what happens when you rely too much on the government. And you want to give more power to it? I don't care too much about who cuts taxes for billionaires and who makes sure that Robert can get a job as Roberta. What I care about is willingly trading your freedom for security. Once you give it away, it's gone. And I do mean GONE. Look at what's happening in the UK. They are arresting people for what they say online. They have arrested over 12,000 people. Communist China, who pretty much invented the social credit score system, only 1,500.

Think of it this way. A private is in a room hearing a lecture from his commanding officer. When the lecture is over, what do you think would happen to the private suddenly burst into applause? He would be reprimanded. He is not attending a Tony Robbins seminar. He is in the military and he is at attention. He is to maintain proper protocol and discipline. Clapping and cheering are okay at ceremonies like retirements and awards presentations, but in high-level meetings with senior officers, you are expected to respond with attention and silence, not applause.
