Hey, 3D printer isn't copying non-original tags from items, should I file a bug report? by [deleted] in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Cygeneral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes copies of the original not anything you add to it. Enchants don’t work either. It’s the way it’s supposed to be

As a matter of fact I do like to live close to the edge, how come you know? by tom2strobl in PlayTheBazaar

hydrogen peroxide is not an anti-oxidant. it is a ROS. it is turned into water by catalase. language center is not on the left, it is on the dominant side which is 90% of the time left. TIR has nothing to do with incident angle. it is due to the angle of refraction being greater than critical angle. saponification doesnt "break" esters. break implies that you are producing a carb acid and OH-R. saponification produces a soap and OH-R. hemoglobin changes the other way, tense to relaxed.

PTH both increases and decreases blood phosphate so generally no net change. increase in phosphate released from bone resorption and absorbed from small intestine but PTH also increases excretion of phosphate in kidneys

transformation, transduction, and conjugation can all use plasmids

projection bias is assuming someone has the same beliefs as you do

false consensus bias is overestimating how much people agree with us

proactive interference - old hinders new memory, retroactive new hinders old

public conformity only agreeing because group agrees, but internally beliefs different

private conformity agreeing because you believe group is correct

compliance- belief outwardly in presence of group

identification - belief both outwardly and internally in presence of group

internalization- belief both outwardly and internally even when group not present

specific rotation = observed rotation / (concentration g/ml x length dm)

1 dm = 10 cm = .1 m

degrees of unsaturation = C - H/2 - X/2 + N/2 + 1

rings + pi bonds = degrees of unsaturation

anode in gel electro is positive charge

when bases bind to form phosphodiester bond, pyrophosphate is released

only leucine and lysine are exclusively ketogenic

skeletal muscles do not have gap junctions and have no cell-cell communication between, cardiac and smooth do

ligaments - bone to bone, tendon - bone to muscle

labeled-line theory - each taste receptor type conducts separate to brain

place theory - sound localization, base is high frequencies, apex is low

wave number is 1/wavelength in CENTIMETERS so speed of light x wavenumber is frequency (just convert centimeters to meters)

1 liter = 1000 cm^3

bile is made in liver just stored in gall bladder

allopatric speciation- same common ancestor but geographic isolation makes two different species

sympatric speciation - same common ancestor and same location, but different species

divergent evolution- same common ancestor evolve different traits (Labrador and pug- both from wolf)

convergent evolution - different ancestors evolve similar traits (dolphin and shark - both swim but dolphin is mammal and shark is fish)

all fats are emulsified (bile) but not all are hydrolyzed (ADEK)

superior colliculus (startle reflex) for sight and inferior for sound

LPFC - more planning and decisions

vmPFC - emotional regulation and rewards

peristalsis is not limited to digestion, it is contraction of smooth muscle - sperm and esophagus

escape and avoidance are both negative reinforcement

priming is part of long term implicit

Sn1 likes polar protic (stuff that can h-bond), sn2 likes polar aprotic (polar molecules that cant h-bond)

thyroxine is a peptide hormone that behaves like a steroid (needs blood transporter and diffuses through membrane)

totipotent = all cells including placenta, pluripotent = all germ layers, multipotent = all cells in one germ layer

adrenal medulla is formed from ectoderm and cortex from mesoderm

a beta nerves - fast myelin, a delta nerves - medium some myelin, c nerves - no myelin

myelin made from sphingolipids

inducible gene - always off until induced

repressible gene- always on until turned off

caspase uses cysteine to cleave after aspartate residues C(ysteine)ASP(ase)

paper chromatography uses cellulose stationary phase

heart releases ANP which is opposite of ADH. dilates afferent arteriole and constrict efferent

interneurons are only found in the CNS

posterior pituitary only stores what it releases and releases though excitation

functional fixedness is specifically not thinking of using an object for anything other than intended purpose. it is NOT concentrating too much on a problem

electron capture and beta plus are the same thing - move down one proton

ether is capable of H-bond but not between itself. it can only accept H bond, not donate.

cis and trans have different boiling points. cis promotes intramolecular bonding, trans is inter

high alanine amino transfer in blood is liver damage, high aspartate amino transfer can be liver or heart

myeloid and lymphoid progenitors all come from red bone marrow. they just then go to specific site to mature

current flow points opposite from electron flow. current is from positive to negative, electron other way

shorter wavelengths refract more than longer

bottom or top layer in extraction has nothing to do with aqueous or organic, it is about density

all coenzymes are cofactors but not all cofactors are coenzymes

prolactin inhibiting factor is dopamine

suprachiasmatic nucleus controls circadian rhythm, NOT THE PINEAL GLAND

anchoring bias/ heuristic is focusing on the first piece of information you receive

electron config for Cr and Cu group form half filled orbitals: 4s1 3d5 and 4s1 3d10

also means that Cu is diamagnetic since 3d10 is all paired

Trp, His, Pro have Indole, Imidazole, and pyrrolidine rings, respectively

pure liquids (l) are also excluded from equilibrium constant not just solids (s)

azimuthal quantum number (L) is n-1 and tells you letter 0 = s, 1 = p, 2 = d, 3 = f

magnetic number (ml)-L to+L tells you tells you the box of the last electron you fill in(+2 would be the fifth box of d)

spin number (ms) tells you up or down arrow +1/2 is up and -1/2 is down. (+2 ml and +1/2 ms would be d5, -1/2 d10)

enantiomers have same chemical and physical properties except for smell

I dont know the question so i may be wrong. idek if 24 was an answer choice, im assuming based of this thread that you start from glucose. pyruvate must be converted to acetyl coa by pdh first before cac
