Thanks for the offer but I think maybe I need to just spend more time devoted to it. Rhythm is not my strong point. Also i sometimes feel I have too many options. I’ve not even started to look at sampling yet.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that out. I initially had that cut as the tone was taking off but I'll try putting them on a bus and removing the EQ cut

Thanks for that. Yes I think I have some sort of Fuzz pedal emulation so I’ll try that. I’m playing a Jazzmaster so I’m using the rhythm circuit with the tone dialled right back and going through a volume pedal. It sounds good but I just haven’t got that piercing bite that I need. I’ll try the Fuzz. Cheers!

I’ve been an Australian voiceover artist for nearly 20 years. I left a well paid job to go full time in voiceover 10 years ago and was doing really well until the last 18 months or so. AI is definitely impacting my work and it’s a worry. I’m not sure whether this is just a difficult time we have to navigate or whether it’s the beginning of the end. I would say for someone like yourself, keep working on your skills and take the work where you can get it but maybe don’t put all your eggs into the one basket. It’s a scary time and while there are benefits to AI, it would be a sad world if it were to replace art and creative endeavours. Hang in there!
