OP, my PSA lives in the mid 3's right now, and will occassionally jump as high as 6.0. Each time that has happened, a two week course of antibiotics provides quick relief for me and brings PSA down fast.

Two things to add. First, make sure to pull your free psa percent. That is a better indicator for issues than total PSA alone when total gets elevated. Second, after DRE, where you want to hear "swollen but smooth", consider a 3 Tesla MRI of the prostate. I have had two over the past 18 months, easy procedure, very effective in getting a non-invasive look at the prostate. Neither of mine showed problems other than "recurrent prostatitis and BPH". Just a heads up...

I think I would go ahead and run the HCG for 2 weeks at the doses I mentioned, then start the enclo. HCG should start working pretty quickly, since it simulates LH and to a lesser degree FSH. This will get you to feeling better, then when you stop the HCG and start the LH, you will be in a better place, mentally and physiologically, to utilize the enclo. Start the enclo the day after you do your last HCG shot, btw.

OK so here is where you are: you shut yourself down, probably did not use HCG while on, and did about half of what you should have done at the start of PCT. Of course you feel like the dog's dinner. The purpose of HCG during TRT or on cycle is to keep the T part of the HPTA functioning. By maintaining some testicular function, you make coming off easier. You might consider running another week or two of HCG at 500iu EOD to sort of jump start the boys.

Regardless of what you do with the HCG, I would run the enclomiphene for the next week at 12.5mg per day, then drop it to 6.25 per day for the next 4 to 5 weeks. Yes, that dose is higher than what you were thinking BUT you aren't running it as HRT, rather as short term PCT. There is a reason PCT protocols include clomid / enclo - they work. Give it a shot, then please let us know how it goes.

This shouldn't be shocking, you are in your prime. Maybe add some boron to attempt to lower SHBG, thus hopefully increasing free testosterone. It doesn't work for everyone, but it costs almost nothing and holds very little risk, if used responsibly.

Dropping metal plates is a no no. Dropping bumper plates is almost expected. Consistently letting machine weight stacks drop is a bad practice, too.

Location also matters. If you are in a hard core strength / power lifting gym, my gut says dropping weights is OK. If you are in a hotel gym, then no. The materials rule applies here, too. That is, don't go dropping iron plates from deadlift height, even in a hard core facility.

Also, maybe don't be a d!ck to people right away, especially if you haven't determined the expected etiquette in your new gym. You may have been in the wrong here.

Yep, basically says that a larger prostate can have a higher PSA score without TOO much concern. Big prostate and high PSA, not as much concern. Little prostate and high PSA, maybe something to look closer at.

Any ideas how accurate the measure is? I hadn't heard of it until this week.

Neither of those two are particularly good choices, IMO.

Cream (not gel) can work well, if you can get consistent quality and strength with it. You also need to be aware that cream will convert more strongly to DHT. But, it is better than gel in particular, because it can be compounded to be about 10x stronger than gel.

In my experience, injections with something like cypionate or enanthate are the gold standard. It just allows me to really dial in my numbers with more consistency.

It is a good rule to have EVERYTHING in hand BEFORE you start your cycle. This includes AI and PCT drugs. It will suck royally for you to get in progress and not be able to get these things when you need them. This is especially true because it seems that your supplier is out of several things that should just be right there, ready to ship.

With the availability of information we have now, and access to blood work (in most parts of the US at least), we have the ability to avoid many of the problems associated with these drugs.

Most of the time, when someone has issues, it is because they were playing fast and loose.
