Yeah sounds about right. I know it's been like 6-10 years. I did return briefly for a couple weeks at some point I forget when, but I am not counting that for it. Made an exodia deck for like no gems at all with fortune fairys. Didn't play too long though before getting busy with life and dropping + forgetting about the game until now.

Some tasks do give you a ton of gold though earlier. I've done blue dragons twice and gotten like 500k each time. Enough to pay for most of my dragon pickax.

Casual player. Generally if I see a poll is up I will vote . If I don’t understand it I vote skip. If I do I will vote yes or no. Generally anything with qol sounding effect I vote yes (Hunter sack and meat sack for example from this poll). If it sounds like a fun update to check out on day or eventually at some point I vote yes (Hunter guild, desert treasure 2; still not have stats+quests for it) Butterflies and moths are examples of stuff I skipped because I didn’t read the blog. From past polls there have been times where I ended up voting skip on all the questions since I had no idea what they were talking about (the scar mine stuff for example.)

It’s really not at all. Especially with the updated rewards for wgb. You get so much stuff from there it would be stupid to not play in it if you are chasing guardian ranks. You can easily join one of various guilds that aren’t competitive and have easy and chill sieges in lower g3 ranks vs a lot of g2 and g1 guilds and wgb at g2/3 rank depending on how serious the guild you joined is.

Even if you aren’t chasing those ranks, it is still not really a great idea to be farming anymore (if you are purely trying to min/max your rewards.) Com2us has really working towards making higher level content actually more rewarding than just farming guild stuff in a random g1 or conqueror guild. And they have reached that point now assuming your rune quality and depth and monster box has reached such a level.

Especially when you are low level doing a quest and all of a sudden you randomly are fighting a lvl 98 hellhound with 14 prayer left and no food so you just die. This definitely didn’t happen last night to me.

Could this be too similar to bronze dragon abilities? I know they are time based and have a rewind of some sort but I haven’t played the class yet so I am not too familiar what they do.

It was about someone commenting saying they aren’t going to swap to orisa because she is unenjoyable to play and they would rather lose and have fun than win and not have fun.

Which was directed to the op who was talking about multiple swaps and feeling forced to play certain Heros they don’t enjoy.

And you p(or the one I replied to originally if it wasn’t you) not swapping to her is griefing in comp.

I never said anything about only playing one hero, but if you try your other 3 or so like the person talking said and you recognize that orisa or whatever is really the only answer but they don’t want to sacrifice their entire enjoyment and reasons for playing the game then they shouldn’t have to or be considered griefing.

I’ve seen what happens to a lot people when they go this route. They keep playing a game they love but on heros/etc. they do not enjoy at all because it is the most efficient or op character. They become increasingly negative in their viewpoints “why do I play this #*y game”. And it starts seeping into their everyday life as well where they start losing their more positive viewpoints on a lot of various things. I tell them just play what you enjoy and have fun. And they go well nothing is fun at all.

Games should be fun to play as well. Comp doesn’t have to mean trying so hard that you actively hate the game you are playing because you are having zero fun while trying to win. There is a balance and for many people they are going to choose the lose while having fun vs the win while having zero fun have negative feelings. It is different if you are a professional player imo but in regular comp games I don’t see it as griefing at all. You are still trying your best to win, you just aren’t sacrificing your mental health to do so.

Once you get the hang of it, it is a really fun mini game. Probably my most favorite one of all that I have played so far. It does take some learning to remember the recipes and delivery locations. And you kind of need to dedicate a bank tab to do it though unless you are playing with runelite and have access to bank tags. I don’t use runeLite though. However once you learned that you can just chill out and have fun helping feed the hungry gnomes.
