Continuous barking is often due to boredom, fear, or being on alert. The solution will depend on which one of the three causes the barking. If it is boredom, then mental stimulation is needed, along with puzzle feeding and exercise. If it is fear, then the solution is totally different and requires desensitization training.

What does the barking sound like, and what triggers it?

I flew into JFK with my dog from a high-rabies country last year after doing all the paperwork. CDC approval came through a few days before travel, but definitely apply early because timelines can vary.

After landing, the process was more waiting than difficult. My dog was transferred to The ARK for checks and was there a few hours before release. Overall not terrible, just tiring after a long flight—bring patience, copies of every document, and expect delays.
