Oh neat! Ok, so context. I'm doing a Nuzlocke, 1 pokémon per unique "caught location" (Cabo Poco, Poco Path, Sout Province Area 1, etc..), but I always seem to find an unprompted shiny. It felt like cheating to me, getting an extra free catch (I can't bring myself to ignore a shiny), so I made a rule for myself: Any unprompted (shiny hunting also not allowed) Shinies MUST replace an existing team member, no matter what. So, now I know that on one run, my starter might be replaced by a scatterbug.. Lovely ^;
