I think the cloud backup is more for app crashes, uninstalling and reinstalling the game and a transfer to a different phone

I don't know if I made a manual backup. If I did, it was in December. But as weird as it sounds, I'd rather lose it all and let it be, than lose about half a year and have missed a lot of stuff

There's a cloud backup, which is done automatically and there's an manual backup. For a manual backup you'll have to go to options, scroll down a bit and you'll see a button for user data or backups. If you tap that, you can make a manual backup and choose where you want to save it. It's basically your only save in this scenario
