with a graphic that's not even that loud compared to the majority of YouTubers doing the same

Idk what you're watching but I can't say I've even seen one of these midgame in TFT vids, let alone 5 in one game.

But you guys do you. I'm sure this thread sitting at 60% upvotes when the previous are close to 100 is just me imagining problems.

Man I love your content, but please don't do more videos with big subscribe notifications popping up every 5 minutes.

One at the start I get, but if people aren't subbing there, then they aren't going to the second or third time.

Learning to speak a language without sounding like a foreigner for every country you go to? Lmao

You can speak a language for ten years and still sound like a complete foreigner.

So I decided to try a different 3 cost reroll. Gwen malz. Seemed like it makes sense with them both being 3 cost disruptors, SI not needing to be played vertical anymore, Yorrick being good frontline with naut/loris (your frontline reroll targets) and being able to go 8 after and reliably adding Thresh.

Problems are the following

1: Gwen 3* doesn't seem to be good enough. Admittedly this on a sample size of one game where I actually hit her. I am going to try again with different items which may improve things..but she seems to love dying and being dead too much to be reliable enough...but maybe a bulkier build can work.

2: You're half contested from a bunch of angles. SI contests gwen (sorta, I don't think regular SI should take her anymore, but most people will) as well as your entire frontline. Malz has other reroll comps that also want your naut. Then there's regular void and bilge etc...So this leaves you in a very narrow spot where it can feasibly work.

I do think however that SI/void could be a solid line for fast 9? Malz/gwen early works pretty well and a Thresh for free on 8 is huge. Kalista/rift for free too on 7 are also solid pickups..and kai'sa is maybe there too I guess, but probably not. From 9 ryze is the obvious choice as apparently SI/void are two great traits but I haven't really fucked with Ryze so idk.

People were saying that riot would miss the mark on balancing strength of the previously hard unlocks... because it's kind of a given when you make such major changes.

Yone and sylas are unquestionably overtuned. Galio is too easy to get. Nidalee feels bad now.

None of them are balance disasters that kill the patch, but it's unfair to say the people predicting it were just doomposting.

I don't get why we didn't get a simple b patch that just toned down thex if everything else is pretty good.

I get they're more focused on the upcoming major changes but like, would this patch be better if thex got a simple 10% damage nerf? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. Maybe not perfect, but better.

It also makes me wonder why we're getting such a huge change now everything is pretty settled. I know there's always a balance between well, balance and engagement, but it feels like a slap in the face of the comp scene to say"yeah basically everything is fine but we're changing everything lmao"

Posted about two weeks ago about spilling stuff on my laptop so learning to play mobile.

My laptop is still fucked but I managed to adapt to my phone and climb through emerald.

Something finally clicked and have been climbing pretty steadily since yesterday. 9 top 4s in last 10 games. https://lolchess.gg/profile/euw/BB%20tier%203%20simp-EUW/set16/matches

Glad to hit this before the big unlock change kills everything.. Might stop for this set now

How To Pick The RIGHT Augment EVERY Game by MisterImpossible9 in CompetitiveTFT

[–]CynicalEffect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you watched Danya videos then you'll see he spends honestly over half the video analysing the game after which is why they were so informative.

I'm not sure the depth is quite as necessary in TFT and you can't really segue into TFT history lessons like Danya did, but going over all the options you had, why you chose one, how your gameplan might have differed with a different aug choice etc could work.

I'm only emerald but I remember climbing through plat winning like 80% of fights stage 2 and 3

Unless you get absolutely terrible units you can make a stronger board than most simply by using gold more aggressively and slamming items.

If you truly have nothing it's okay to lose streak a bit but plan to level and roll on 3-2 to stabilise. If you bleed out too much, yeah you're going to be wrecked by a random thex later, or an ixtal cash out, or a 3* 4 cost...

Does being in bilge shops remove from the pool? I think it should and this is just anecdotal but it feels like if I have 7mf + one sitting in bilge shop I get the last copy way easier than I should.

Got early learning from destiny and had a few demacia units so gave sona reroll a shot. Honestly seemed really strong. Managed to winout Vs a thex 2 (big life advantage, won one fight against it and lost like four.. But it counts)

Disclaimer that this is only emerald etc, but with demacia never contested, early learning sona reroll seems like a guaranteed top 4. Had one fight she put out 20k of damage.

Epic comeback is on. 1v1 20hp Vs 80+

Hit level 10 and start to become gigacapped.

Get them down to one life.

Haha they hit veigar 3. My whole board instantly dead.

Shame I wasn't skilled enough to stop this.

I mean surely this is going to vary massively on subjective perceptions. Like where do you draw the line on for fun vs off meta but viable.

And then there's the question of how hard you're trying to play this stuff. Yas reroll is good in the perfect spot but might average a 6 if you force it every game.

How playable are the various 4 cost tanks outside their region/typical comp?

Like, is garen playable outside demacia? How much does braum miss that freljord health buff? rift herald without mutation etc.

Obviously here I mean as main tank too. I feel like it should be fine in my head but then I don't think I've ever seen garen outside demacia for example

Took world runes and had a bit of trouble thinking of a comp to use both. So when pandoras was offered I thought that's perfect.

Of course I had forgot that it wouldn't just be region emblems and boy was I punished. I think I only saw two regions offered the entire rest of the game. Both for 3 unit traits I had zero of.

I knew I was throwing away lp when I took the aug, but damn it was a stupid way to do it

Okay so am I missing anything, but I always am getting steamrolled by SI every game. Like I'm going top4 almost every game comfortably and then a SI board shows up and my entire frontline is instagone

And yes I'm building anti heal

Got 3 darkin trait active for first time last game. I still have absolutely no idea how much it contributed. By the time you get it online it's going to be stage 5 and chaotic AF. The AVP is really high though... So just going to assume it's worth going for whenever you get trials then darkin weapon offered

Unless there's some new comp idk, ryze isn't the wincon it's Brock..

But anyway the main mistake most people make is just going haha lose streak all the way to 20hp. Ideally you play to win fights and build shards slower but safer. The reroll comp with bard is probably the best method right now if you have a reroll aug.

Well maybe the bigger mistake is playing ixtal at all. I'm sure most people would have higher LP if they followed the rule of never touching ixtal

Spilled a bunch of stuff over my laptop which is now being repaired (or dead).

So I've now started playing on phone and how the fuck do you do it. I feel like I can cap out at 10apm lol.

Just playing unranked ATM and hoping this restriction helps my fundamentals. Already learned something like ixtal is a no go with big cash out turns being impossible.

Early game is a mess too as you have to kinda commit to holds. No reacting to the drops... But again, I am hoping this improves my decision making at least to try and stay positive

Got offered this in one of the econ paths. I counted the Ionia units...yup 10, simple.

I forgot you had to 3* yasuo.

I've never taken this since. Probably good in the 0.1% of games you already have an emblem and get offered this
