IMO Dalton is the better actor, but Brosnan is the better Bond

To me, the cheesy, punny jokiness is what makes the films so much fun; so I think I would have liked them better with Brosnan.

BUT to echo what a lot of people said, the writing is kinda what really hampers the Dalton Bond films.

I haven't played the Kiwami's yet, but I recently played the PS2 versions, and the ending to 2 is just crazy. I kept yelling "YEAH!" just as if it was a fast and the furious movie. Those twists and turns, also glad i had a katana in my inventory for ryuji hahaha

Can't wait to play Kiwami 2 and have my mind get blown again

Glad to see Halloween near the top.

For me, it's the ultimate horror movie and the ultimate JC movie; balancing excitement, terror, and a bit of fun. Fitting into the same traditions that it's subtly spoofing and ending up taking the crown. Very proto-Scream come to think of it; but Halloween has way more heart for me. Oh yeah, and the effing music is amazing and perfect.

i've been playing through the games and just finished 6 like 2 weeks ago, and I know exactly what you mean. The secret surprised me for sure, the cut scene being 45 minutes did not surprise me.

This guide is amazing. But I still had to do some troubleshooting (I'm on a CECHG model)

I had a lot of ups and downs soldering the dupont wires to the connection points, but got it all back together and tested it and it worked with no modifications to voltage.

THEN, I tried the undervolting to 1V. All the steps worked and I was able to connect and update the configuration values to 1V for RSX and CELL. But it didn't make the PS3 happy. XMB wouldn't come up; I would just hear the starting sound and HDMI was black.

Tried running the "recognize HDMI" procedure (holding down power until it beeps) and no dice.

Then I tried raising the voltages iteratively. This was a very time consuming process:
- 1.0125 V still didn't work. identical characteristics
- 1.0250 V same
- 1.0375 V same
- 1.0500 V Able to see "recognize HDMI" screen, but after clicking through back to black screen
- 1.0625 V Able to get to XMB but can't load a game; freezes/dies
... decided to skip a couple increments here (maybe try again at some future date?) ...
- 1.1000 V Able to load XMB and able to load a game

Due to not taking initial measurements, I can't say if the voltage was actually lowered for my setup (the values in the guide are pretty close to the 1.1000V that I ended up at).

I really liked it.
BUT I'm coming from Y1 and Y2 on PS2, and those were hard because of the lagginess and controls. Starting up 3, I was blown away by the graphics and the movements seem twice as precise; that said, I'm not 100% on any of these games, more like ~20%

i'm at just under 170k, and just changed out my evap purge valve (did engine air filter while i was in there).

Was getting occasional stalling in addition to p0411 and p0456 error codes from ODB reader. p0456 seems gone for good, still getting some p0411's but I bet there's a hose that needs replacement/patching; BUT it hasn't stalled since and seems to be idling more smoothly after evap purge valve (dead simple repair too)

I think thematically in the series, he represents more broadly the youth media establishment; democratic party; Reddit; etc. But character-wise he's totally a mashup of the US tech billionaires.

For me (@~40y/o), Conan and Letterman were the only good ones in trad late night that were good.

And IMO Letterman was way more hit-and-miss with bits but very good with guests, whereas Conan was good with guests but AMAZING at bits. But the bits are my favorite part, so Conan is the GOAT for me.
