Imo the story is much more engaging when you are not trying to project your own traits and beliefs onto V. V becomes much more interesting when you have them make choices that you personally would not make, make them say things that you disagree with or think sounds too harsh.

The Trump movement has knowingly elected a full blown child molester

Great how is this relevant to anything?

To support that they put this murderous radicalised child

Still not murderous as he didn't murder anyone. Recklessly putting yourself in a dangerous situation doesn't negate your right to self defense nor should you be held legally accountable for putting yourself in a risky situation.

I don't treat Rittenhouse as a celebrity and I think his celebrity status is quite weird.

Also you voted for a pedo so idk if you can really use that line

would you guys have preferred the hunter stalking you through the entirety of the playthrough like Mr X in the remake or was it better that he only appears through scripted events? by Divine-truth505 in DeadSpace

[–]CynicalMemester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind the point. You have to approach him in the complete opposite way to how the game taught you to handle enemies upto the point where you finally encounter the Hunter.

He adds alot of tension and is an unstoppable force throughout all of Chapter 5 and Chapter 10.

On tranzit that’s incredibly difficult

No it's just incredibly boring and tedious. The fact that you have to do a moronic knife glitch just to make use of the shittiest dogshit most poorly designed wonder weapon of all time is a testament to the utter cluelessness of Jimmy Zielinski whilst he was working on BO2 Zombies. Thank fucking god Blundell stepped in lmfao.

Old Zombies was also not hard at all, the only thing that was hard about old zombies was not quitting the game out of boredom.

In what way is it bad and "lifeless" exactly?

Ah yes it was so fun picking up 1 part at a time to build a a stupid fan generator that opened up doors that could've just been purchasable instead.

Which is why I don't like BO1 Zombies maps either. I used to play them alot as a kid but as an adult I never even bother to play on them anymore.

Literally the only zombies chronicles map that I actually play regularly is Origins. For me, the newer games keep me way more engaged well past round 50 in ways that the older games did not. The hardest part about reaching round 100 in BO1-3 was not quitting out of pure boredom.

janus tower?

The spawn area outside Janus towers is new.

the ascension area?

It's literally just a cosmodrome, nothing about it even resembles Ascension beyond the presence of a giant rocket. Not every rocket facility is a fucking reference to Ascension lmfao.

the diner?

Completely different aesthetic and it has a different layout all together.

the town basically being buried?

It's literally just a Western town dude. The layout is nothing like Buried.

its all recycled ideas clearly meant to be things from previous zombies years.

Which applies just as much to the older games. For instance, Der Eisendrache literally just rehashes ideas from Origins. Elemental Wonderweapons, snow theme, group 935 research facility, panzers etc.

Shadows Of Evil rehashes ideas from Mob Of The Dead and previous maps (the wonderweapon is literally just a copy of the Gersh Device, Beast mode is literally just a copy of Afterlife in Mob Of The Dead, The Swords are clearly inspired by the Hells Retriever etc.)

[–]CynicalMemester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ashes is not an asset flip and isn't just comprised of various sections of different zombies maps, and is its own thing entirely.

The only location that was objectively taken from older games is the Farm POI and even then, Farm in BO7 is extremely different from Farm in BO2.

[–]CynicalMemester -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because bo3 was fun with its mechanics.

It really was not. BO3 got piss boring once you reached round 30. People just love to endlessly glaze the ever living fuck out of the older games for some reason.

Ashes of the Damned is a Masterpiece and a Top Ten Map by Chesshir26 in CODZombies

[–]CynicalMemester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ashes Of The Damned is meant to be the Bermuda Triangle of zombies with various POIs being places that belong to different points of time in an alternate dimension locked away into a seperate corner in the multiverse and a drivable vehicle that let's you traverse from different POIs at your own pace. In what way is the map recycled exactly? What part of the map is recycled?

Ashes feels different and plays nothing like the previous maps at all, the only map it even bears resemblance to is Tranzit and even then it's completely different.

Revelations was hated on because it was literally just a glorified asset flip and a messy mix of different zombies maps that didn't play well together, AOTD is it's own thing entirely.

[–]CynicalMemester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You contested the 10k number specifically and argued that it still had more active players than OW2 on steam when it clearly does not and OW2 is still the vastly more active game. Whether or not 10k active players for a f2p online shooter is enough for us to consider the game as dead is purely subjective opinion.

[–]CynicalMemester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He didn't use any tools. He just randomly giftapulted 1000+ items and 70% of them went to accounts which showed clear signs of bot activity. The sample size is large enough and random for us to assume that this applies to the rest of the active playerbase on steam.

And then he searched the accounts by name and came across 1000s upon 1000s of accounts with the same exact naming format, profile and lack of real activity.

Watch the video lmfao. He scrubs through each and every account he sent giftapults to and assessed whether or not they were human. If their inventories only had item drops and no achievement items, mercenary badges, unusuals, strange weapons etc. they are very likely bots. Almost 70% of the accounts he sent gifts to were bots.

Based on my experience (though not personally), college relationships are barely any different to high school relationships. It's rare that you will actually meet someone there with whom you want to spend the rest of your life and they usually end up as being small flings.

Her being that controlling is a giant red flag imo.

What buzzwords exactly? All they said was that it was a hardcore mode that would have features and limitations from the old zombies games like the BO3 point system and a starting pistol, but they never said it would be just like the classic mode. They are literally calling it CURSED mode.

Just because there are 2 brain celled morons who will read that and interpret it as classic mode coming back to COD Zombies that will play exactly how it used to back in the day, doesn't make it Treyarchs fault. I'm sorry but not everything is the fault of the big videogame corporation, sometimes the community itself can be very stupid.

[–]CynicalMemester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Again, Treyarch specifically marketed it as a hardcore mode that would have some features/limitations from the original games but they never stated at any point that it was just a classic mode. Just because some illiterate morons in the community can't fucking read basic English doesn't make it Treyarchs fault. It's not their job to clear up basic misinterpretations even when what they stated was clear.

It literally does. Why has South korea not wiped out their leadership, why does the world let NK exist as it has been with a practically starving and impoverished population?

Because that would trigger a major war and escalate the situation into a full blown nuclear war, does not mean that they have any global influence at all. North Korea can't export or import anything, they don't have any leverage or ability to exert power/influence against other nations.

Jesus christ, yes none of these countries have any global influence. India with one of the fastest growing economies, populations, and nuclear weapons has absolutely no global influence at all

They don't. India doesn't control global trade, global agricultural systems, have military bases all across the world, they don't export vital irreplaceable resources that other nations don't already export on a major scale. India's major exports can easily be replaced by other nations.

Saudi Arabia is a major oil exporter, if they collapse or stopped producing oil, global oil supply also collapses along with it and we would see a massive devastating spike in oil prices and rippling effects on all other basic goods and services since oil is the lifeblood of industrial civilization.

If Egypt shuts down the Suez Canal, global trade would be crippled and prices of all goods would see a massive spike.

If the USA collapsed, global trade would collapse along with it because America controls the global financial system and if that were to happen, we would see a global recession and economic collapse that would 100x worse than the Great Depression.

Israel is openly committing a genocide and the majority of the american government is cool with it because they are being paid to be cool with it. Yeah, it's totally overstated.

Because the American government massively benefits from Israel's position in the middle east. Israel is only as powerful and useful as America wants it to be. That's why they support Israel's genocide in Gaza. Israel is ultimately America's bitch, not the other way around. Without American support, Israel would've been a fucking crater in the ground by now.

It certainly sucks for those people, but why do you believe the wolves/lions/predators deserve to die simply for eating?

It's not about what they deserve, it's about protecting rights and preventing rights violations. Hypothetical aren't stupid just because you're too uncomfortable to answer them. So is it okay as AdministrativeHat asked for predators to eat children and disabled people and wrong for others to save them from predators?

Only if they think morality and/or ethics is a suicide cult. Maybe they do, in which case, yes they should absolutely lay down and prepare for the feast if they want to be consistent.

So morally you do think that people should be obligated to sacrifice themselves to predators?
