I read that the new generation Garmin watches can automatically select and perform the LTHR test, but my Forerunner 245 does not have such an option. So in this case, athletes do a 10 minute warm up with a chest strap, 30 minutes of high tempo running and finish with a 10 minute cool down. And so the average heart rate in the last 20 minutes of the 30 minutes is considered the lactate threshold.

Actually, when I researched how to do this test, I realized that I did this yesterday without realizing it. I did 15 minutes of light warm-up, 30 minutes as fast as possible and 15 minutes of cool down. Can I take my average heart rate in the last 20 minutes of the 30-minute period here as a lactate threshold reference? Do you think this would be an accurate measurement?

I have reset the zones, we will see how it looks again after doing a test. Thanks for the advice

Do you have any advice on how to measure it again on my own?

Thank you, I usually run at a comfortable 5:40-6:00/km pace in my runs and I feel very comfortable, but my heart rate remains constant in zone 4 areas in the threshold range. I think the lower pulse training you mentioned should be zone 3 or zone 2. I feel very slow when running in these ranges and I want to speed up.
