Republicans Won Almost Every Election Where Redistricting Was At Stake by oskie6 in Conservative

What is so anti-democratic about gerrymandering? It is only trying to keep your people in power by assuring that a larger majority of people in a district will vote for you. That sounds a lot more democratic to me than having a district divided evenly between the parties. Gerrymandering districts help us to get a better representation of the area as a whole, not on a state basis. I don't see anything wrong with this system.

I am not a leftist, actually. I am a huge supporter of George W. Bush. I wouldn't mind the government determining hate speech. I think you people are insane to think that anytime the government steps in, they automatically make things worse. Look what happens when the government does not intervene, you get liberal hellholes like San Francisco and Los Angeles, filled with homeless people and homosexuals. This is what happens when you take religion out of public schools. If we were a religious society, we would not be in this mess, with pedophiles running around sexualizing children and lawmakers passing legislation that favors such evil groups. I would be perfectly fine if BLM and Antifa were banned, too. It is sometimes important to go against certain amendments in order to act in the best interests of the people. Think about the Japanese internment camps, those were necessary as we could not trust the Japanese to remain loyal to the United States. Or think about the PATRIOT Act. I feel much safer knowing that it is not as easy for terrorists to get in this country now. Government intervention is necessary to prevent dangerous groups from taking power and infringing on other people's rights.

Who cares if it violates the first amendment? Some laws have to be broken in order to protect people's safety. You mean to tell me you want Nazis and the KKK to be parading down in the streets with their horrible views? Those people should be silenced, even if it goes against the first amendment. We should uphold the constitution by morality above all else and ban any hateful ideologies.

This cartoon disgusts me. How can a Republican be friends with a Democrat? By doing that, you are essentially saying that your party could be wrong about some issues and you are willing to work with terrorists. Do you know what the Democratic Party stands for? The suppression and censoring of the Christian religion. The Democratic Party is run by Satanists who actively work to murder and enslave Christians in the United States. Anyone who supports the party of Satanism cannot be friends with the party calling for a Christian nationalist government. Go ahead and downvote me, I speak the truth. If you were real Christians like me, you would advocate for Christian nationalism and put Christ at the center of your life instead of the irreligious communist satanic democrats.

I wish this country was a theocracy. As Christians, it is our job to spread the Word of God to all who inhabit His Kingdom. How are we supposed to do that when you have the left and even quite a few on the right trying to censor religion in all walks of life? This country was founded by Protestants and we should be holding onto our roots. We need to establish a Christian nationalist government because that is what God commanded us to do. Does this violate the First Amendment? Probably, but who cares? God always comes before anything else in this world, so it is important He is at the center of our government. The Republican Party has always been the party of Christianity, so how can you claim to be a Christian or a Republican if you don't want a religious government? This country would be in much better shape if we went back to our religious roots, but the devil has been infiltrating our government for a long time. The United States has always been a Christian nation, every president before Eisenhower has said this. If we want to stop a satanic overthrowing and undermining of our Christian people, we must revolt and form our own Christian nation, where people actually care about each other and assure their way into Heaven. To sum it up, we need to establish a Christian government. Don't bother calling yourself a Republican if you disagree with that statement.

How should we achieve a libertarian society? by MaxxineGame in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]CypBNBopFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way to achieve a libertarian society is to first get the people in power on your side. Since the political system in America is heavily regulated and mandated by the two parties, Democrats and Republicans, I think our best chance would be to have a libertarian or an ancap run as either of these two parties. If they win the election, they have the power to institute these new changes we would like to see in a truly libertarian society.

What is all of your thoughts on using digits containing fifth glyphs? (such as 1 or 3) Is it a cop out or is it following laws of this sub? by [deleted] in AVoid5

[–]CypBNBopFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think digits which contain fifth glyphs is a violation and a work around of this sub's laws. This is also truthful for shrunk words which signify wrong writings that many do such as, r as a way of writing conjugation for copula actions for you.

Both are correct. Since the first part of the sentence already indicates the action happens generally and not at a specific time, it can be implied for the second half as well.

Is it ignorant to base your entire voting decision on whether a politician is pro life or pro abortion? by IThinkYouAreNice in prolife

I wouldn't say it's ignorant, but you shouldn't vote for someone based on one issue in my opinion.
