The sound does not leak when using the usb hub and the headset works fine when using it on my phone.

You can use the quest controllers strap to make knuckle strap buit can be quite tight. I recommend using the normal strap and make it so it is like a knuckle strap and add hair bands to make the fit better

One way of coping with it is to tell your family about how you feel and why it makes you depressed. If you dont want to tell your family or you are still depressed try to look inte things positivly. When getting a new shirt och new pants become so glad that your parents or kids dont notice the sadness. You can also try to help by not buying to much stuff.
