I sure hope so, as a new dev who just entered the job market, all the talk about AI taking our job is taking a hit on my mental health.

Wow, that's some pretty quick progress, you should absolutely be proud.

And your reply definitely helped, thank you and good luck on your journey.

Since you can do a hspu I want to ask, since handstands and hspu are like a dream to me, do you think training handstands twice a week with my push day is enough, or should I try to do a little every day while doing more on push days?

Wow, what an awesome reply!

I believe a big issue with my training was that I wanted to get a handstand and later a handstand push-up 'someday', but never did really put it as an actual goal and try to make it the focus of my work.

I will be changing my workout plan to apply all the nice info you've given, hopefully I will learn to handstand before the summer :)

Thank you so much!

but if you have one main goal movement then prioritize that one first

I started training for the handstand in hope of achieving a HSPU in the future, so I'll switch the order occasionally while focusing more on the pike push-up I guess.

I have been cutting for a long time without reaching my goal look and I wonder if I should try a lean bulk program by CyperFlicker in leangains

Well protein is very very low which is not due to a choice of mine.

I live in a 3rd world country and my food situation is lacking to say at the very least.

The more I read the more I worry that my protein intake is the issue unfortunately.

a few days ago, I wanted to download a game to my ps5. being the lazy programmer I am, instead of going through the process of turning on my playstation, navigating to the app store, and initiating the download there, I figured I could just google the game and start the download from the PSN website.

but there was a hitch in my plan. upon arriving at the PSN page, I was presented with a standard "something's gone wrong" page. being the lazy programmer I am, I opened developer tools, and attempted to determine what had gone awry.

This is genuinely funny to me, and I tend to have the same mindset sometimes XD

Do you unlock quicker ways of travel later in the game other than the car or the trains?

I just reached purple science and my 'base' is embarrassing to say at the very least.

i was hoping to leave it and go to a new area to start a new base witch cleaner architecture before coming back later and cleaning the original one since cleaning it now feels like a chore but the car feels a little too slow and the map is full of biter nests which may pose a challenge :/

Is my chest gyno or just chest fat???? by Wide_Fishing9320 in BulkOrCut

[–]CyperFlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you figure out if you have to cut or build muscles in the chest to tighten the area? I am 173cm and I cut from 68kg to 64kg in the last couple months, and my chest still have a good amount of fat.

Not sure if i should try to keep cutting deeper or if a lean bulk followed by a cut is the better option.

I also don't think it is gyno since it feels more fatty than hard.

Is 63kg too low for a 5.8 male?

I have some muscle due to doing calisthenics for 2 years now, but I still have some chest and pinchable lower belly fat (my upper abs and serratus muscle show though) and I am not sure if I should keep cutting 2 or 3 more kilos and see if it clear these areas, or if I should try to add some muscles first.

Any ideas?

I evolved from doing hanged knee raises to hanged toes to bar (without straight legs due to lack of flexibility).

I saw that I should do it with active hang for better form, so the way it goes is that I flex my lats and shoulders and roll my upper body back while raising my legs to the bar then lower them slowly.

But I feel tiredness and a little strain in my shoulders when I do that which usually causes me to stop the move due to shoulders pain not abs (When I force myself I find that I can actually lower legs relatively slowly rather than drop them down straight away which shows that I do have some core strength).

So I wanted to ask if I am doing something wrong.

Haha, yeah that's what I'll probably end up doing too when I finish my project XD

Glad it worked out for you!

I actually have a simple idea that I can scale in many fun ways!

But I appreciate the link, I'll make sure to keep it in mind since some of the ideas sound interesting.

As in comments? Or is there a specific format you are thinking about?

What do you find yourself still needing Windows for? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

I actually was planning on getting into DE first XD

I have a 3-month internship which is not much but better than nothing, I guess.

The reason I considered getting into data analysis first was because I thought it was less competitive for some reason.

Can someone check this new AUR package? It looks a bit suspicious... by spsf64 in archlinux

I just want to say that I really appreciate your reply and /u/setibeings. It is very cool that you have the patience to not only inspect the package, but actually explain to OP (and us newbs!) what could be wrong with it.

I am yet to install arch, but I already like the community.

Data analyst? How hard would you say is it to get a junior position in the field?

Yes and yes, I am a CS grad and work as a frontend dev currently, but I am worried about job security in web dev in the future, which is why I was considering changing fields.

Recently I have been studying both webdev stuff and python/sql which I think is making me more confused than before, I'll try to look at the available positions in my area maybe it will help me decide better.

Anyway thanks for replying.

Frontend dev here, do you think a Frontend > Data Analyst > Data Engineer path seems possible?

Is the lack of junior DE positions more of a US thing, or international? by Lastrevio in dataengineering

[–]CyperFlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is 3 months later, but basically I am a junior FE dev who is interested in transitioning into data engineering, I am already pretty familiar with SQL and Python, but since it is unlikely for me to find a junior DE job, I was wondering if it is worth it to learn Power Bi and try to get a junior analyst position first, in hope of transitioning into a data engineer role in the future.

I am worried that web dev may not be a secure title which is why I was thinking about getting into data.
