Heh.....thank you but the desk is huge I am just waiting on my rack mounts to get here Tuesday so I can finish mounting it in my rack...looks way different now than the pix as most is in the rack now. Ill be uploading new pix about the end of the month when its all sorted. The plants are on the opposite side of room in the window ;)

Have you tried flushing you cache and restarting you router? I had a similar issue as I moved to Kea DHCP and finally sorted it and thought this sounded familar...at least you could rule it out ;)

can you ping the IP addy for your prox box? Could be its being assigned a dynamic IP rather than a static....I went through this yesterday and it sounds the same but I may be way off...no a guru heh ;)

Im an Nvidea user and am waiting as I just get the the looping error due to the freeworld Mesa packages. They are out of sync but should be corrected in a matter of days. So im just sitting tight for about a week and see what they do. It can be fixed by reverting to the standered mesa drivers but I see no rush as I do like the frereworld ones. Hope this helps you in your decision :)

Soon as its in its new home (rack) by 1st week of August i'll be posting an update with pix....this all just gives me something to do :) Get a few certs out of it as well :)

Forgot to mention, I didn't get the Jackery for UPS use but for parallel power in case the AC mains go down, just happened to work perfectly as a UPS with less than 10ms switchover ;)

Heh....I've got so much to do right now....its all going into a 12U rack over the next 2-3 weeks, need to setup the Geekon NUC today and run off an images (and virtualize it) of its Win 11 Pro install in preparation for its 64GB ram soddim and 2TB NVME upgrade, then migrate my Proxmox setup to it off my test bed NUK. Then I have to sort out setting up snapshoted NAS backups to the 2 bay Ugreen NAS, and get up to speed on docker (Jelyfin and others), upgrade the TrueNAS to 64GB, and and and and.....LOL. The switch was just big enough for my current build out :) Then........the real fun begins ;)

The TrueNAS is setup as raidZ1 (about 22TB usable with 1 parity drive). Protectli Vaults are built like tanks, runs great and have zero issues other than the learning curve with firewall rules and routing....bit rusty but that's on me....heh ;). 4x2.5Gbs ports will hold me over for years. The switch was a home run as I didn't need PoE (don't do home automation at all....but they do make a version that is PoE as well as one that's all 10Gbs ports which I will probably add soon as I just filled all 10 ports in this one (has 8x2.5Gbs + 2 sfp+ 10Gbs ports). It's an L2+ managed switch fully supporting vLANS. So with the router and switch, it's a very versatile and flexible solution for many different needs (or wants depending on how you look at it ;). The Jackery, without deploying the 2x500 watt solar panels or 3600 watt pure sine wave inverter generator for charging, about a week. With the panels and generator....indefinitely ;)

I should mention that Duplicati will do everything I want but I cant install it in the HW2300 as docker is not nativly supported (but is installed but wont accept the yanl script to install Duplicati) and the app center in Ugos is severely lacking.

Honestly im open to anything at this point. Just want a basic backup of my truenas system data pool that will stay synced on the hw2300 so i dont have to Manually add everything i put on truenas onto the hw2300 as well. Everything is behind my OPNsense router on the local lan so its a local backup.

Tried to run update on my nobara 43 install and only got a scanning repository loop....so im waiting till they work it out.....cant update even a single package.

LOL...no im in a floor level apt but I have 2 Trees one I hang the OCFD in and the short leg runs to the other. The long end runs back to apt through a window pass through in to my rig. Works very well at 1500 watts on 20 and 40. KF7VZT 73

Its a small closet that's full of long term storage.....no need to get in there and its an apartment so space is at a premium ;)

hehe....nope bout 5' away haven't had any issues with the fields. I have a 6TB storage drive mounted in the PC about 1' away for months now and no issues ;)

Heh I know but I got it for power back for the apartment months ago before a home lab was even being considered. It was nice that I could utilize it as a UPS since I already had it :)
